I think I have both of the model kits you used to build your two old hot rods. I got them for a reasonable price at Ollie's at the end of last year. Would the H&R chassis you used on the barge and others be applicable for these 40's style rods or is the Scaleauto chassis the best choice for this application? From your experience, which of the chassis types would be best for adding Carrera's digital chip, if used for a full body car more similar to your barge?
@Clearwater1246 күн бұрын
The H&R chassis will work for just about anything. And I know there is a spot to mount a chip in the ScaleAuto 8500RTR chassis. And there is plenty of room for one in the H&R.
@douglascook2586 күн бұрын
@@Clearwater124 Great, I'll look into the ScaleAuto 8500RTR as well. Thanks for the informative videos.

If you have an Ollie's anywhere near you, they often have car models for less than half of what you would pay elsewhere. The selection is never large, but for the price they will make some nice slot cars.
@Clearwater1248 күн бұрын
I went to the only local one we have and they had 2 models and they were the wrong scale
@douglascook2588 күн бұрын
@@Clearwater124 Keep an eye on them because you never know when they get in a shipment. They had quite a few as Christmas approached.
