I prefer the casted actors/actresses. They make it feel more real. These give a sort of too perfect and stereotypical beauty features but loosing character and quirkiness that make it relatable.

I absolutely love the ai portraits. When I was reading the book years before the show I imagined them approximately like that. I needed quite some time to get used to the series characters' looks after years of imagining them totally different.

every face AI generates looks the same, and extremely fake/unrealistic because it airbrushes everyone and puts inches of make-up, fake lighting and filters on everything. Nothing and no one looks like that, only highly photoshopped pictures. AI also doesn't know what "pale" or "fair complexion" means, because it is so dumb. Everyone gets a tan. What a waste of time.
