As per my understading, visa required for enter Thailand which is on 7 May (still consider Visa free) on 7 May you will get atleast 1 month Visa so you can travel in Thailand for 1 month.

Yes, you can apply for Phillipines visa from direct embassy in India. I suggest travel from Singapore because there is no direct flight from India to Philippines. Either from singapore or malaysia you need to fly. And to protect Phillipino girl they are taking precausion they dont want any other country people take any disadvantage. Mostly immigration officer ask solo traveler about female friend

Hi book online ferry is optional. Once you landed to surat thani airport you will get many ferry operator counter in the airport. Just buy your suitable ferry timing and price.before you book surat thani flight, make sure what are the ferry timings.

Hi goutam, no issue with fresh passport. You can first visit Singapore and fly from there. Must book confirm accomodation and return flight ticket. If you have any female friend, please dont tell to immigration officer.
