2 hours trying to beat Tahir gave up and deleted the game.

I'm about to break this game and go back to playing the PS2 Ratchet games. This is my first playthrough of it, and after I finish this I'm never going back to this remake ever again. It's so annoying, the characters talk non-stop, the plot is different and the new characters suck, not to mention that Clank has barley any interaction with Ratchet. I enjoyed Rift Apart, but the 2016 remake is something I strongly dislike and I hate how hard this level is.

Thanks for creating and sharing this. I've not been playing long, but shortly after this cave I quit. Game is unnecessarily frustrating. One gets quest while exploring, with not map markers, or directional arrows showing where said Wenja is that needs rescuing before the Udam behead him. I have never come across such poor quest mechanics in a Far Cry game. The odd time the map will display an orange diamond, but too often I have received the message, "Quest Failed" while looking about for a lost hostage.

This mission was pretty big bullshit. • First Commander Asshole Jeff forgets to tell you to close off the blue pipes. • Then he blows up his own fort, and gives you 10 seconds to get out. Stupid ass mission.

If you're low level, inexperienced, or afraid of nighttime the way I was on my first playthrough, just know there's a building immediately west of the bolter that you can get on top of and drop into a big metal cage to wait for night and avoid roaming volatiles while you work up the confidence to use the method in the video. Lots of good loot in that building, plus it's an excellent spot to shoot the bolter from using the powerful 'Ranger Bow' or 'Gust of Wind' crossbow, for a one shot kill. These weapons can be crafted after buying the 'Harran Ranger's Pack' and 'Shu Warrior Bundle,' respectively. I highly suggest them. The Gust of Wind does more damage (500 damage) and the bolts are a little cheaper to craft, but the Ranger Bow (400 damage) has far better aim assist making it way more effective if you use a controller.

Just found out how to do it on console if the enemies don't spawn. Right above the location marker on the ground, press RB on xbox or R1 on playstation to hit the ground. The mole rat will pop out and kill that little bastard. It seems there was only one for me.
