Very powerful instrument. I love that Toccata , one of my favorite. The exécution is too fast according to the tempo

Eureka is a great locomotive. Isn’t she? I’m glad to see you rode behind her at the Great Western Steam Up in Carson City NV. Did I tell you that I finally have a Bachmann Fn3 model of her? Unfortunately it’s an early release that’s equipped with that garbage plastic gear that would wear out after several running sessions. So I recently purchased a new gear for it from Northwest Short line. Even though the original gear hasn’t worn out yet I don’t trust it. Wish me luck.

The acoustics were vastly improved in the remodeling. The organ was almost totally revoiced.

Honestly they’re a little “TOO GOOD”. Because the make the sound of the pipes and brass band rain down on the congregation, but that in turn causes Hazel and the brass band to drown out the choir. LOL!!!!

A truly wonderful evening of glorious music! I work with Kevin (the organs curator) We tuned the organ this past Monday and I was “babysitting" the organ for this concert. I was just to the right of the organ console (behind the poinsettias on the ledge) 😊
