Wow, je verdiend echt veel meer weergaven dan je krijgt man. Ik kom net van je Need For Speed video, echt mijn complimenten voor je script en editen! Verfrissend om een keer een Nederlandse collega tegen te komen op KZfaq! Blijven doorgaan man, je maakt echt goeie content. Ik denk alleen dat je titel/thumbnail combinaties beter kunnen.

Nfsu2 is my favourite open world map in all nfs. Theres little to no outside city area (the only one being the mountain drifting area which is justified) and the city just feels majestic and gigantic despite its actual playable area being quite restrictive. Its just the feel of a giant neon metropolis that has never been replicated in the further nfs games, that makes me very nostalgic. Nfs 2015 had a very similar vibe but it lacked city area diversity and it didnt have that "giant city towering in the distance" because of lack of dense high rise areas.And the following 3 nfs games have a laughably small city area and an enormous open field which feels like im playing hot pursuit with all those supercars people are obsessed with these days. I just want to rev up my trusty honda civic or golf gti and drive through the endless neon city at night.

@BorealSine

Underground 2 copied what U1 did the best but with worse maps / useless driving from point to point and much worse soundtracks but it was still great. Most wanted is insanely boring and repetitive , you can't drift and drag racing is super boring, you dont have the feeling of speed, car handling got worse. Every other nfs was just awful especially over the last decade+ when they chose an engine made for battlefield and tried to adopt it to racing game and they keep doing it , that's why people wonder why they can't even drift, car handling is so bad you better play mobile game on your phone yet new generation of tick tock player love it and leave positive reviews so i keep re-playing old and the best in series NFS every year, i have definitive edition mods installed so it looks much better than new one.
@MatthysFAIL
@MatthysFAIL 24 күн бұрын
While I do think that some of the newer titles can be pretty fun to play as well, I think you're right about the handling! It's just not as good as in the older games and Battlefield's frostbite engine really wasn't made for racing games!

Underground 2 marked a vital point in me as a gamer, since I couldn't play the first one. It was the first time I felt betrayed by a game. I started this game and I felt weirded out in the get go. Why street cars? Why forced exploration? Why confined to a city? Why forced visual customization? Why are there no cops? Why a forced story mode? Why drifting? Why drag? But I was still young, barely over 10, so my naivete made me go through the entire game, hoping it's just that the supercars and varied locations were locked in the post-game. They weren't, and I uninstalled it on the spot. This wasn't and still isn't Need for Speed. One of the worst gaming experiences I've ever had. This was not when NFS peaked, but when it crashed and burned. It wouldn't be until Pokémon Legends Arceus that I felt that my continuous support of a franchise was insulted so badly again.

Something interesting you probably didn’t know is that NFS MW (2012) originally was going to be a direct sequel to most wanted (05) but due to rushed development many aspects of the game were cut including an actual story, M3-GTR(later added as dlc), and a different heat system that had cooldown spots in alleys to lose pursuits, weapons were thought to be a feature cut from the game but if you look at the beta or alpha you can see what this game could have been.

Actually the import tunnel scene was around way before the fast and the furious movies. All of you white people are late us Asains been doing Import tunners since the 70s got more popular in the 80 and we started drifting And this was about the time of AZN culture. Then the first fast and the furious movie came out in the 90s. And that's when all of you took notice. Then Kenichi Tsuchiya came to America and showed all of you what Drift is and that's when Drifting got big here. All of you are late lol See my people bought our car culture from the mother land That includes Drifting. 😊 You're welcome.

We spent more time designing the car wraps than anything else, and at the end had a whole collection of really cool designs. I want to say that playing it was why we ended up getting a GTI later. This game showed downfall of companies for me from EA being a scummy as they are, All they had to do was combine underground 2 with most wanted and they would have sold so many but they did not evolve the game to where it should have gone they got greedy and stupid and now look where we are instead of them being praised for the good company they were and used to be they are now praised for being the worst company in existence and you guys still buy their stuff don't vote with your wallet that's the only thing they understand

I do really agree with you that EA has become a rather awful company as far as their business practises go. But the reason I keep buying some of their games (definitely not all of them) is that even after UG2 and Most Wanted, they still released a lot of great games. Even now that Criterion is back as main developer for nfs, they are doing a pretty well job supporting nfs Unbound and listening to its community. :)
