Yes ,i agree great design...i actually have the new race care version that uses same chassis ..i added oil shocks and upgraded to a 2845 5900kv surpass and went to 22t pinion from its stock 18t and 2440 4500kv...on stock 2s it went from 25mph to 40mph mph with ridiculous power...

I borrowed these wheels from another RC. They are better but not great. If you really like this RC go and buy some nice wheels for it, it's worth it! I would suggest 1/10 buggy rear wheels for all 4 but it's up to you.

Hi just want to ask. In your video you break the car at 10:17...is it normal sound and quickness of breaking process (pushing backward throttle on remote control)? Because when mine was new it was breaking super fast even from really high speeds it stopped almost immediately, but now it breaks like your one, slowly with that howling sound. Is it normal? My car seems dangerous at high speeds as the breaking is unreliable. THX
@mikesrccorner
@mikesrccorner 26 күн бұрын
That is going to be normal hearing it whine when breaking. If you double brake it goes into reverse so that would make it stop extremely fast. One thing I would check is your throttle trim. Make sure it's in the most neutral spot. You can play with it with not touching the throttle on the radio and dial the trim up so the RC begins to move fwd... back it off and keep going till the RC goes in reverse... once you find that range, trim the throttle to have it in the middle as best as you can so you will have proper throttle and braking. This RC is a bit louder than most at this size but it has a lot of metal which the cheaper RC are plastic. So it will make more noise. It's a great RC and with a little maintenance it will last a long time and have fun. Hope that helps. Sorry with a delay answer... I was away on vacation last week.

It's been a busy, wet and humid summer. Lots of rain and thunderstorms ruining my RC plans at times but it's all good! Kids are off from school, I'm heading into vacation time along with my wife, we have a couple nice trips planned! When I get back we'll do 3s on the SG116 MAX, new Temu MT wheels on the 4wd stampede, 3s on the MJX hoonitruck, build a SCX10ii LCG rig with a kit from Aliexpress and there's always more new stuff coming on top! Thanks for watching and have a great summer too.

Nice find, got a vintage Tamiya Boomerang myself recently from the e-waste recycling facility we swing by almost daily at work. And on January 2nd this year, literally first day i was employed officially there with pay. A brushed stampede 2wd monster jam grave digger version with no bodyshell, missing servo saver & some screws missing. Had that up & running in no time with the stuff i have sitting around. Along with no radio, charger ofc but have since converted it to brushless with a 3s lipo i also found there not to long ago in the battery recycling box. Lipo is a bit worn as for it's size doesn't last very long. I get like 20 minutes out of it atm but it's not running hot at least hitting the 3.4v lvc.

I own half a doven Hyper Go's and I love em. I usually am driuving trucks off ramps and desire to attain backflips etc. often with the Hypergos even landing on all four wheels often the rear left shock tower would break. I eventually drilled tiny holes into core of tower then ran very skinny long self tapping steel screws that fixed broken shock towers. hardest part was finding those tiny long screws. I recently ordered my first 1/10 scale Hyper Go. cool video. Happy trails.

Good stuff! I'm happy with the MJX brand too and they are tough. I'll admit I'm not that hard on my stuff and don't jump my stuff often. In a few years i'll have more free time and can get into wrenching more but I'm in the mode of keeping things working and running. Having 2 kids who like to RC it's charging batteries and making sure things are ship shape to run! I've been watching the vids on the new 1/10 truck. I think it will be good but the reviewers seem to have got first version for feedback and they'll release a v2 soon. We'll see it's gotten praise and concerns from all kinds of different RC channels. You have to pay attention, they get it for free so their review might be biased. Everyone is talking it's cheap but it's like around $330cdn and that's still a decent chunk of change.

@@mikesrccorner I like 1/16 scale trux, and I tried out a Traxxas "LaTrax" Tetom truck which I enjoy, but I bumped it into a blue plue plastic squarev recycling box and the Tetom broke its front left arm. I drove my Sweep into harder situations and never broke an arm. I once drove it into a sewer and had to use a "snake grabing stick" to reach inton "clean" street sewer and got it out and its fine. One thing I do is cut the front lower body by 3mm because the wires for headlights get messed up from the front lower part of body. This is the car that got me into RC's. I will look into your follow up videos. ty. happy trails.

He saves them for me. I do a video (cuz I think it's cool) and put them on marketplace. They usually sell within the week as someone had one when they were a kids and now they can get the model back. I have a couple guys now I contact too, they like scooping up this stuff.

I've been looking for a while for a cool drift RC. I had an old HBX 1:16 sedan style drift car which I reviewed here on this channel, it finally died last year. I have the MJX 14301 and the Team Associated 1/10 Hoonitruck, but I have them as speed runners and want to keep them that way. I was browsing my email and I saw this from aliexpress. I checked it out to make sure it was hobby style and decided to go on it. Here's the complete review. I must say I'm quite happy with the drifting for the price point. It's fun for sure and it can get around in tighter places like my driveway. My kids will love it too, they don't care how much it costs as long as it's fun! Thanks for watching and more great content and reviews coming soon.

Hey Brian... yeah I heard of some people getting different wheels. I know the JJRC C8801 or Kootai versions come with the black rims and different tires. Not sure if they are a second run from the manufacturer and they sourced those different wheels. Anyway I think if you like it you'll upgrade the wheels and rims anyway. The ones though I have are pretty decent and work good on the crawler course I built at my place. I got a playlist on this truck here on my channel, check it out and in the video description is a link to a facebook group for this truck. I think there's a couple hundred people in that group now and there's post on this truck everyday with what people are doing with theirs or asking questions/posting ideas. Hope that helps. Cheers!
