Your organization had a huge impact on the research I included in a seminar I did at a DJ conference in Vegas 2 years ago about inclusivity in music! Still working my butt off to let my YT followers know that women are under-represented in every single aspect of the music industry...not by a lit but by a lot!!!! Love what y'all do & hope you'll be out in So Cal soon :-)

The Warning is NOT a rock group; They are nice girls performing rock; performance is like a student playing Bach. Many Warning Songs are written for them by other musicians and songwriters. Also, they are using loops during performance...Reminds me of "musical ad flipping"..BUT I LOVE them......They CAN become real rock musicians when they express the Mayan archetypes within themselves. Then, they will become a TRULY GREAT rock group. WISHING them the very best.

I wish they would talk more about their musical influences. It always comes down to a video game. It doesn't get more millennial than that 😅.
@manfredbrosche566123 күн бұрын
They grew up listening to classic Rock (Pink Floyd, Queen, AC/DC, Guns 'n Roses etc.), learned piano at a very young age, playing classical music. Later, they got into Emo etc. (My Chemical Romance, Fallout Boy, MUSE, Panic! at the Disco). Then they got into K-Pop and J-Rock. They also listen to Pop and learn to play all kinds of genes, e.g. Jazz. However, they do not try to copy anyone, but create something new. So it is hard to pinpoint certain influences to their music. It is more a mixture of everything with an original twist. This is, why they seem to attract a very diverse fandom from 7 to 70 years old, male female, American, European, Asian...
@LOFIAD22 күн бұрын
@@manfredbrosche5661 thanks for that. I guess being from an older generation I experienced music differently. I would expect them to talk about their heroes, the way they played and master their instruments and the fine details about the music they were inspired by. Also talk about how their songs came to be.

I am a man in my mid 60s- I found The Warning by accident on you tube several years ago! This was back when the bass guitar was taller than Ale'. This interview was very telling - meaning it kind of gave us some understanding from where these young ladies are coming from an going! I will say that all of these ladies have a great vocabulary and a very deep understanding of the English language ( this is a great feat given they hail from Monterrey, Mexico). Their parents must be very proud! As far as women in rock are concerned- Heart (there is a Band!)

They say they attribute their success to luck. And sure, that's certainly a part of it. But they sell themselves short. They work SO hard, they have so much charisma, they practice, practice, practice, they have such incredible energy, they have huge musical chops, they LOVE music of all sorts and, they are unbelievably talented! And they are also just so wonderfully generous, and lovely and pretty, and NICE! They deserve all the success, all the accolades, all the love from the fabulous Warning Army. They're not the best band from Mexico. They're not the best female band. They're not the best band of sisters. They're not the best three piece rock band. They are the BEST ROCK BAND playing today.

They are a rarity, I found them 5 or 6 years ago and they saved my life. I am not into super heavy metal I like Metallica but I don't follow them, But when I saw these 3 sisters beat thereself to death trying to do a good job playing the Enter Sandman song I was totally absorbed. I am 72, And there unlike the bands that I followed in the 60s and 70s and 80s that were fueled by drugs and a large ego. These sisters have been raised right, With respect and love for everyone, Thank you( LUIS & MONICA), For raising such wonderful souls. Me being an older person respect is really remarkable, And when you receive respect respect it makes you feel good . That's what these girls are trying to do it's make you have a good time and feel good, Just like Paulina said, The crowd enjoyed the show and Paulina said that means we're doing our job, Love her❤ Viva the warning band, The Villareal sisters, Made history and still are love them to the moon⚡️⚡️⚡️🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽💙💙💙

@@terryandrews7271 Yeah - one is not popular for being honest about respecting one's own body. It's a straight and narrow path, isn't it. Thanks for the gen on Pau, well if you hadn't mentioned it, I would never have known. They are such talented girls, I hope they don't go the way of Avril L and Tina Setkic (they're still prodigies, but a bit distracted from their main talents). My brother had a tat done, about 6 months ago. Pretty big, but like he says, invisible when he wears a collar and tie. His reasons not really credible, but he's just got a beautiful new girlfriend (also with a few tats) - in his case, maybe it was a good trade. Not for me though

The Warning ranks among the finest bands I've ever come across. Their music boasts remarkable melodies, and despite their youth, their instrumental and vocal prowess is truly remarkable. Perhaps the pinnacle of bands formed in the 2000s, The Warning owes its success to their undeniable talent, unwavering work ethic, and deep connection with their fan base. Continuously making waves in the realm of rock music, they inspire fans worldwide with their music and uplifting message.

I've been a hard rock fan since I was a teen in the 80s. There weren't many women in the genre back then- maybe a dozen, only half of which maintained name recognition. Fast-forward to today, I feel like the male hard rock groups are constantly putting out "more of the same" to the point I don't feel much interest in them. But the women in this space, my goodness, they are blowing the doors off the joint. The Warning are my absolute favorites, not only on stage, but off stage as well. It's amazing how they can be absolute hard rock goddesses on stage, then step off the stage being more humble and thankful than most people who aren't even famous. I'm loving the newer breed of female-fronted rock and the material they all are giving us. Finally, hard rock is getting a dose of originality again.

I like how they smile so much while they are performing. It really shows how much they enjoy it. It makes it were the audience come alive when they see a band that shows it without trying. I hope that makes sense

The question about how they are treated as females in rock music was unfair. If The Warning had been boys growing as a band and playing and learning the same, there would have been so much indifference to them by the main acts and crowds. From year to year they have grown as a band and improved noticeably. btw, BIG bands have had them tour with them and crowds from several years ago were big and loved them. So where was the difficulty as women in rock????? Personally, I think they are just a great band and even greater people who are building/have built, a band and team that can and probably will reach the pinnacle of world class stadium rock bands

Only those that lived the rock culture in their youth, all those decades ago, would truly get it. Only those people would understand how we lived it, and what we lost. It meant everything to us, and we lived it daily. When we lost it due to growing up, becoming adults, raising a family, and the grunge era ushered in a new style of music, plus Radio payola became a thing, those feelings all but died out for us. The Warning has rekindled all that for us. Now we are older, families are raised, and we have more time to do things for ourselves, we selfishly soak up everything DPA throws at us. We get excited to go to concerts again, wear rock concert Shirts, and collect memorabilia. They make us happy, and they make us proud watching them grow and succeed in life. So for me, it's more than just the music they play, it's about enjoying life again, as we used too, and they bring back an era that was part of who we used to be. For us older fans, they are our fountain of youth. They make us forget the daily stress of adulting, and make some of us feel alive again. No band has done this for me in decades. Great interview! 🤟⚡
