This was such a great show, and I am very encouraged that there are still new fans coming along even 50 years later. I really liked the way that, even thought there was no budget and the sets were a bit tacky, the cast played their parts with absolute conviction, forcing you to take things as seriously as they were. Made all the difference. I have the complete series on DVD, and I am waiting until my kids get a bit older before I introduce them to this. Mike in Canada

Superb flick, which doesn't get talked about at all. As a blues aficionado, seeing Buddy Guy killin' it throughout the movie with his blistering guitar chops and mind-blowing vocals was a chef's kiss. Love that great man. Andy Garcia has something in his style that makes you go, "Now that's style." This man really knows how to carry himself. Only the likes of Christopher Walken can play a cripple's role so formidably. Excellent watch. *August 1, 2024*

This Film is a Masterpiece. One of the Greatest Horror Films that didn't get the Attention it Deserved. It's Absolutely Horrifying. It warns people to be careful with Hypnosis, because if it's not done correctly it could open doors in your mind that should have never been Opened. Always check the Reviews on Google of an NLP Hypnosis Expert to make sure that they are Professional, Valid and know what they're doing.

I think everybody missed the point about this movie. It's not an erotic creepy type of shit, it's about a man who rewrites his reality to try to make its fucked up ideas less disturbing to himself and excuse his actions in the worst way possible. Yes the girl is shown as oversexualized and seductive, because we see the distorted point of view of the pedo, not the objective reality.

Still gives me goose bumps after all these years, best opening theme EVER!!

avoid this release and any release by via vision/imprint. all these are, are releases of other countries old dvds that are upscaled or blu rays from years ago. most have burnt in yellow subtitles, and none appear to have new subtitles. another trash aussie label. keep your money and support chameleon.

I received my set, last week. I already have the TWILIGHT TIME Blu-ray of "Pal Joey" -- but I wanted the HD editions of the other 2 -- ESPECIALLY "Middle of the Night". I am VERY happy with this set! -- Now, we just need a Volume 2 set from IMPRINT, featuring "Bell, Book and Candle" and other neglected Novak favorites!

First watched this in the very early 1970s when it was repeated in the Anglia region. Didn't understand it at all (I was 9) and developed a temporary phobia about balloons ! Made when tv companies just said 'yes' to anything different. And it is still as great and enigmatic as it was back then !

where has the print been sourced from? is it new or from an old blu ray. this information is important for collectors. the last 3 films were very disappointing and it was obvious they were old blu-rays or upscaled dvds. if these next 3 releases are not good i will be dropping the label. chameleon an australian company is the measuring stick.

Brilliant movie with notable cast and wonderful setting in Tahiti. Anthony Hopkins as Bligh was fantastic and should have won an Oscar for his portrayal. Showed it to a number of others at a film night and they were all impressed. Deserves to be much better known.
