You have a book that is becoming increasingly difficult to find. As I remember (and my memory may be faulty) when the 4 Bachman books were published together for the first time they were issued in a large trade paperback AND the hardcover that you have in this video simultaneously. I don't have my hardcover handy right now (it's at the library in my other house but when I go out there next I will check the book) but I think it had a publishers price on the inside flap and I notice that your copy does not seem to have that. If the book was a book club edition it would not have a price HOWEVER it would also be clearly marked as a book club edition in most cases and yours does not have a notification identifying it as a book club edition. I suspect it is a subsequent hardcover printing by NAL (New American Library). Now NO hardcover would be a true first edition because the first editions were published as little trade paperbacks (those are tough to find these days) in single volumes but the NAL hardcover reprints are also becoming scarce and RAGE has been out of print for many years since Stephen King pulled it from publication when school shootings became a popular activity for kids. Those who seek out this book are almost always buying it to get a print copy of RAGE. You stole the book for under $3. Your copy appears to be in near mint condition and your cover is still glossy. I can't venture to say what it would sell for right now but you should definitely hang on to it. A copy that looks as clean as that one does is very desirable indeed. You did very well with that copy. The book isn't exactly rare as there were many printed but I would consider it scarce and it's value will only escalate. Copies in the condition that you have just don't turn up in used book stores these days. Congratulations.
