I hope so to. The only thing that can be a bit frustrating is Kalima when the winds and sand blow in off the Sahara, it usually only lasts a few days. You will 100% have as good a time as us. September should be a fantastic time to go

As far as I know its only outdone by atomic clocks that use lasers. I am unsure of the exact measurement of accuracy

Your absolutely right. The rain can be an issue. We live in the south of France and there are villages here that have no water during summer months, and it's definitely gonna get worse. I guess its ironic that the choice will soon be rain or fire. You definitely don't see to many cyclist, and if I remember correctly a lot of the tunnels don't allow bikes, which makes crossing the country even more difficult.

Yep. Maybe the solution is structural. Many people travel during summers only because that's when the children are off. Having a much shorter summer vacation for children and longer breaks in spring and fall would provide more options for all and avoid peak summer heat.

​@@vmoses1979 Completely agree. Also a lot of people are stuck in there ways...... Like retired people who do their grocery shopping on Saturday morning when the store is the busiest and they could have gone any other day of the week...... It's sometimes hard to teach Old Dogs new tricks.

Thats a good question. There are a couple taps in some parks. You can have a look on park 4 night. There is one at a pic nic area on the route up to Teide if you go from los Cristianos. We met plenty of people who would make the small detour to fill up there, can also attach a hose at that one. We filled bottles from park water fountains mostly. In 2 months there we didn't purchase any water.

No permit needed for any of the parking spots. Everything was done using park for night. We used ARMAS to ferry from Huelva. It's a pretty nice ride. If you are going during winter, wait till black Friday to buy tickets. Ours was 265 euro for 2 people and the Van (no room, just 2 seats onboard) On the way back we went with Armas and it was with a different boat where we parked on the roof and they let us use the Van for the entire 66 hours from La Palma, so got to camp on the ferry was epic.

Hi thanks for your reply. I will definitely wait until black friday! Our van is similar to yours but its 5.4 meters long so it jumps it up into next category. For vans over 5m it adds another 500 euros on top for one way !! Your vlog was super and we will definitely be parking up in some of those spots!

Its an easy walk. the path is pretty wide however there is nothing stopping you from going over the edge other than common sense. As long as you don't drink a full bottle of whisky , anyone will be fine. Some areas might give a sense of vertigo if you go to close to the edge.

@@planetlenz how many sections are of it is vertiginous? 1km, 2km? I suffer with vertigo.

@@prf7237 more than half has a steep shoulder, but the path is wide enough that you can stay away from the edge. Im not the biggest fan of hights myself, and I was OK. It's an absolute must do hike if your able to go visit the area

Completely agree. We were there in September, and only had maybe 2 rain days in 4 weeks. The Canary Islands is much better for less rain, can't wait to go back and visit some other Islands

What do you think of the end of September to hike in the Dolomites?? From a crowd, cost and weather perspective?

@@Ace-rt1qq I would highly recommend it. Temperatures are more comfortable, less people. Do the more popular hikes like Lago sotapis and Tre Cime on weekdays so there's no weekenders adding to the crowd. We filmed all of this inbetween early September to early October. We even got a couple cm of snow one evening that made the mountain peaks pop. In my Opinion September is perfect. We stayed in our Van and were never too cold and wore shorts most days, and not too busy for finding great free camping spots
