A lot of people got the wrong message thinking only torque sensor system make sense. Not at all guys, just learn about more details, the devil is always in the details..

It’s clear, cadence sensor systems won, ebike companies like Lectric, Ride1Up resolved almost the described perceived disadvantages of the cadence system. Ride1Up Portola for example I have never experienced the so called “ghost” pedaling the amount of torque during different speed of pedaling is distributed evenly, the amount if cadence sensor magnets was increased. While Lectric did a software tweaking reaching torque sensor alike pedaling. And still both brands even with advanced electrical equipment and Portola with upgraded mechanical components on the top charge just below $1K, way not as high as torque sensor equipped ebikes, and others with cadence sensor like Velotric, already $1,200 and raising?? The public which is more familiar with what we are talking here obviously will save some money not jumping on the torque-sensor wagon…

A problem I had with my e-bike was that my battery worked, all my connections were good, but it wouldn’t turn on. I contacted the dealer and they sent me a new display (screen on the bike which wouldn’t turn on). After connecting the new one, the bike turned on.

All the You Tube videos poo poo the cadence bikes. I have one with 5,300 miles and if I ever need to replace it will be another cadence, and not because of the slight difference in cost. You want exercise? Try pedaling either one in PAS 2 fairly hard up a slight hill. You go the same to speed and work equally hard on both. The only difference is when you start, the cadence will accelerate faster.

I stripped the heads of the TT20 bolts, even though I used a brand new high quality tool and a lot of force against the bolt head. Darn! Next time I will first apply heat with a soldering iron.
