Update: my high school never had these alarms, they used the EHS-EL1 horn strobes. I can confirm this because they added on to the school last year and they tore an old part of the school that still had original alarms intact, only to be removed the next time I visited. It should be noted that when the school was built in 1995, the district picked the lowest bidder probably to save money. The subcontractor that installed the original system specified the EHS-EL1 instead of the AES because of a lack of need for these alarms, and they're outdoor rated. Another interesting thing is that the subcontractor also went out of business shortly after construction completed, I don't know the reason.

Can you do it in March Time and Continuous? There's also a dip switch inside that lets you change the March Time rate from 60BPM to 20BPM.

Pretty cool, looks like this is a Non-Enhanced Unsynchronized Strobe due to the black font. What year is this one from? I'd say it's probably an earlier generation, not the 1st Generation, but still.

Sounds somewhere between one of those older late 1990's-2000 Electronic 4903's and Addressable TrueAlert/TrueAlert ES.

The piezo is different inside, it has a white piezo similar to the SpectrAlert instead of a black piezo like the regular TrueAlerts do.

I am aware of that hack, but Ideally you don’t want to do that because you might damage the charging circuit.

I once did this with one of my own 2903s & TrueAlerts, not sure if I was still surprised or not though. Definitely interesting that that happens, moreso that it does with more than one device besides the 2903.

I do not work at another fire alarm company, the branch I worked at didn’t do fire alarms, they did extinguishers and fire suppression, hence I why I have a small collection of fire extinguishers. I haven’t sought another job at a fire alarm company mainly because of my declining interest in fire alarms, and companies willing to hire me with little to no experience in the ACTUAL fire alarm field. I found a job in the public sector that I’m deeply committed to now that pays very good, so I’m sticking with that for the foreseeable future. The 4100 needs more parts in order for it to be a completely functional panel to where I can hook up devices and alarms to it. It powers up fine with no problems, but needs more parts as it’s just the main interface board. I reached out to Firealarm9200 for some help on what I would need to get in order for it to be a complete panel.

@@FireAlarmTech7. Nice, it's awesome. I think you would like the 4100 Classic only problem is that it is programming. I have an Notifier AFP-400 that I'm planning to put in use pretty soon. It's pretty satisfactory once you get a high end panel to work. Are you planning to replace the MS-2? (With another panel other than the 4100 Classic)

This was the message KONEelevatorman111 had on his channel for a long time before deleting his videos, so this is technically a reupload. Notifier did reuse the code 3 tone but with longer pulses.

I fixed my entire high school voice evacuation panel . They have 1300 points connected to the entire campus. Their voice evac drive died and didn’t run the message. I put a relay triggered mp3 player and it works!! It was loud!! EST3 VOICE EVAC SYSTEM

I remember having this in my first grade classroom at the corner end of the room. It was set in continuous, low volume. Perhaps it sounded lower due to it being at the back end of the classroom. Very nostalgic.
