The Music is either Indian or Chinese in style . It definitely does not fit Vermont.

Another thought. When I was driving there, I noticed that there were many red cars, as much as 20%. A Vermont friend said that this was to be able to be seen better in snowstorms. In more recent screenings I have watched, the percentage has fallen to 10% or so. If you check these out here, you’ll find it higher in this drive, once 18 out of 100. Fascinating.

Wow! When I was teaching at Middlebury College, 2000-2015, I often drove around the state, soaking up the scenery, and, sure enough many of the scenes in this drive trigger memories. Thank you for screening!

Yes, by all means, open Google Maps and trace Otter Creek from the Green Mountains east of Manchester to Lake Champlain. Basically, it follows Route 7 for much of the way, but there are very few places to stop and look at it. I will come back and watch this again. It is mesmerizing. Thank you for screening!

Mesmerizing is right. When I taught at Middlebury College, I enjoyed driving around the state on weekends and remember passing by this river several times. I just never got out to study it. Thank you for screening!

Yes! When I was teaching at Middlebury College, 2000-2015, I was driving a Porsche, and late in that period I the auto repair shops in Burlington stopped serving me. So, I found one in Richmond and went there often. They did a great job. Three cheers for Richmond! Thank you for screening!
