This series will be of extreme use to me, thanks so much for uploading it. Quick question - I was looking for the Phylogenetics lecture you referenced as Lecture 19. I am unable to find it on your Uploads - I would really appreciate it if you had a copy spare and could upload it!

very informative video, thank you :) How would you use NGS to identify Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) with focus on RNA binding proteins TDP43, FUS, TAF15? What would be the approach?

Hello Thanks for this beautiful video, the webpage that you have mentioned in the video, has no content over it, is it possible to re-upload the RNA-SEQ tutorial 2016 content on that webpage? if not, how can one access to that material? Thanks in Advance

I am unable to get the desired output with the if/else example provided at 7:20. For some reason the first print command is being executed, whether the string contains GC or not. I have tried different variations of this, includign when there is no "C" or "G" or "GC" in the input string. Is anyone else finding the same? or could someone guide me as to what mistake I am making? Here is the code myDNA='ATGTGTA' if myDNA.find('GC'): print('GC is found') else: print('No GC found') Thanks

Bioinformatics has become an important part of many areas of biology. In experimental molecular biology, bioinformatics techniques such as image and signal processing allow extraction of useful results from large amounts of raw data.
