I started on an SV650, has grunt downlow, so if your wife is jumpy/uncoordinated may not be the best option.

As a man that just entered his 30s, I've only been riding for a year, but my next motorcycle is going to be a cruiser or indian style motorcycle. Never once glanced at the Harley's. Most people who like them are over the age of 35. They price their bikes 20-30% above market and It's clear that their brand isn't as strong as it once was.

You can do what I do and never have this problem .Buy used. Everybody knows if you just shop around a little you can find some fantastic prices and save a whole lot of $.. So why don't more people do this,and why do so many people walk into a dealer and spend the cash that is being complained about here.? I know ....

I didn’t watch your whole video, but why don’t you name the dealership if people start doing this, Maybe things will start to change. I’ve been riding Harleys for 33 years and have been riding for 54 years. I will not buy a thing from a Harley dealership unless the only way I can get it is from the dealership nor will I buy a motorcycle from them.. They have been overcharging people and charging more than MSRP since the evolutions came out. I have several other motorcycles and they’re all a better bike than my Harley. It’s time that we say enough is enough and maybe now sincetheir woke agenda has been exposed, People will wake up.

I've started finding MSRP dealerships, if I walk into a dealership and no tags are hanging, I walk out! I've always been told, if you have to ask what the price is, you probably can't afford it.

First they made the conscious decision(with Lucifer) to put the Mom & Pop Shops (Dealers) out of business by catering to & courting Automobile Dealers & their “Mega” formats! As, typically, the Automobile Dealership format are the ONLY ones with the credit & sophistication to build Glass Gargantuan Motorcycle Complexes (like their near-peer Mega AutoPlexes) alongside major interstates and away from the more desirable backwoods & country roads (like those on the byways & parkways of the Blue Ridge, Appalachia, Rocky & Cascade mountains). And, exploiting the sophistication of the Automobile Industry’s Sales & Finance & Insurance sub-divisions they introduced the concept of “Dealer Mark-up”! It’s very plain to see, like broad daylight, that even Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles could see! High-pressure sales from entering the lot to riding off!!

Most HD customers are NPCs . They have to have the logo or their NPC friends won't accept them. Total sheep, with no critical thought. Paying $20k for 80s tech and 50s quality.

If you buy used you can get a nice bike for a great price! Most guy keep their bikes especially Harley’s really nice due to pride in the brand! Social media market feature great prices on nice bikes LA area.

As a life long motorcyclist I have never found the Harley Davidson dealerships where I live very accommodating! They seem to have kind of an arrogant dicky attitude!

In 2017 I bought a new street glide special, took it on a trip to the middle of the state , Ca, got home & took the shocks off & threw them in the garbage, put some 444 on it and now it’s rideable along with heavier fork oil. Stage 1 it & put a D&D 2 into 1 on it. Now it’s rideable

I'm sorry but it just sounds like capitalism to me. Supply and demand. I ran into the same thing when Jeep introduced their 392 V8 Wrangler Rubicon. Jeep dealers knew how much Jeep people wanted this V8 Wrangler and had been waiting for some time. I went to the Jeep dealer and saw the MSRP of $78,000 with a dealer markup of $20,000 on the 392 V8 Wrangler Rubicon. That made the price to me of $98,000. They marked it up because they felt the demand is so great that they can get that money. Or something close to it by starting the negotiations that much higher. Needless to say, I came home and decided to keep my old Jeep.

So i am looking for a Brand to buy a Motorcycle for me here and idendify me with, but if i see and hear only Problems by Harley Davidson Tradition i get sad and disappoint because if Harley Davidson Producer are not interest on Clients and Tradition, so thats Worst for me, may i should to look for a other Brand?! Harley already made their money. The bikes at dealers are already sold in $HOG eyes. They report those bikes as sold to wall st. The dealer is now on the hook. Same as car makers. They are trying to make max profit. If people are willing to pay a markup and $HOG is willing to finance 130% of the bike and the customer is willing, hey that is America. But bigger picture the motoco is making too many bikes for the demand. The dealers are about to get into a lot of trouble. 11k new harleys on cycletrader. 3k new 2024 road glides. Who will buy all that?

Been riding for over 30 years, Honda and Kawasaki have been rock solid bikes, everyone that I've known that rode Harleys ... they spent more time working on them than riding them. I've always been happy buying used bikes.
