I was jonesing for the 24. I ride a 22 GT Pro. Put my bike on the block and only got 3 inquiries from scammers! Trade in would have😊 been $9000! Didn’t need the upgrade that bad. I’m focused on loving my bike. It’s an incredible machine!

The Question is : Why are Police Officers Training Citizens on Riding Motorcycles ?!?! Don't we have Advanced Training organisations ? Sounds like a money spinner, they get paid for doing this & get paid to protect the public, when their actual Job is to be out in the public Domain protecting the population from crime ! What makes a police officer a more competent driver than the average person ? So why is this Training not made available to the general public. Something smells bad here & I believe it's all about Money 💰
@stephenkav
@stephenkav 3 күн бұрын
The answers are: Because they are highly trained professional motorcycles and this is a safety initiative not a training course. Yes many, and people are encouraged to train with them. The police do not get paid extra for doing this. Police attend where operational need allows. They are usually traffic officers(not always) and road safety education is part of their role. Many months of advanced training over numerous courses makes them more competent than the average motorist(again, usually, not always) It's about safety, nobody is making a profit from this.
@ukveganbikers
@ukveganbikers 2 күн бұрын
You are missing the point. The police do not make money on these courses, if anything, they probably make a loss. It is about education and encouraging safer riding, hopefully resulting in a few less statistics on the roads.

Good review comparison except I wish they both had the waterproof inner main compartment like the R22. It would be great if Kriega merged the two best features of R22 and R25. I, agree with you that closing feature of R25 is far more user friendly for riders plus mentioning those optional extra little bags is a good mention too, as I have now decided to go for the R25 instead.
@ukveganbikers
@ukveganbikers 13 күн бұрын
Fair comment. I still use my R25 most times I'm out riding so for me it was definitely the right choice! Even if they added one small waterproof inner compartment to it, that would be a huge improvement over the current model.

I'll always be jealous that you can do test rides in the UK. When I was debating between the Transalp and the V-strom 800DE I had to rely on online reviews, and just the feel of sitting on each of them. Not the best way to do it, but I'm also not disappointed with the 800DE at all.

With weird unnecessary electrical "innovations" , we have all kinds of irritating side effects. Wtf is wrong with a nice simple key? Turn it on and ride away. Same for the bloody fuel cap.And dont get me started on the idiotic clutch in to start the thing. We have overdone the technical cleverness. That so-called clever crap will fuck up at some stage and make a fine handling grunty bit of gear unfixable and obsolete. How fuckin annoying.

32 minutes onwards you were trying to impress her. On and off the throttle like a switch. Accelerating hard during corner exit. Accelerating hard upto speed limits. Slight bit of gravel, oil or horse shit will catch you out, even with traction control. Stay safe
@ukveganbikers
@ukveganbikers Ай бұрын
I can promise you I wasn't trying to impress anyone, I was riding my own ride as instructed! In fact, she noted afterwards how she herself likes to get a wiggle on in a similar fashion to myself! Not saying a slide couldn't happen, of course it can, but reading the road, looking where you put your front wheel, and knowing your bike and it's tyres capabilities is key!

@@ukveganbikers its true but to change the suspension is an insane amount of money. And the competitors give these features for cheaper and they're stock instead of third party. The triumph's only advantage is that it's 3 cylinders instead of 2.

Great bike can’t ride mine enough. Ignore the spec sheet there is plenty of power for today’s roads. It apparently takes 6 months for the gearbox to bed in. On mine the clutch is fine. It is an old school retro bike with the 21 litre tank. I get 195 miles before the fuel light comes on then there is a count up read out. The reserve is 4 litre so go for 40 miles . It’s not a sports bike and handles well. So much character and great for A & B roads and is good 2 up
