@@jamesoliver6625 Justin Moses is great but to compare him with Bela Fleck for example is insane. Fleck is lightyears away in his playing on the banjo.

@@sepptrutsch The only one on the stage I don't consider Moses in the same conversation with is Cleveland. (and that includes Douglas) Fleck was flashing the stage 35 years ago, but he's been doing the same thing for the past 25. Same way for Douglas except make it 50 and 35. I've thought Justing a better mando player than Sierra since I first heard him play (much cleaner and powerful) It is what it is.
@sepptrutsch
@sepptrutsch 7 ай бұрын
@@jamesoliver6625 😂 Either a Troll or clueless you are. Moses just plays trad bluegrass banjo there are at least 100 players out there that can play like that. If you prefer hard driving trad banjo then yes, Moses is your man not Fleck. But Flecks vocabulary on the banjo is about 1000x that of Moses.

We were lucky enough to be there that night for the John Anderson tribute. I've watched the video of the whole show so many times it's ridiculous. David's guitar solo on this song and Sierra Hull singing Down in Tennessee were special highlights.
