Hello! So the pyro didnt spawn after i blew up the 3 waves of enemies with my special weapons i used the f22 raptor with 8AAM is it the aircraft or is it a bug in the game (edit) make sure youre on normal or higher for the aces to spawn

i have been experince alot of crashes since this update came its mostly 50/50 at times few matches i have zero crashes and few matches i get like alot of crashes even i have an realy good cupu and gragphic card still the game like to torure me out and im getting realy tired if they dont fix those iusses i might just stop playing it if the game keeps on randomly crashing what is even the point of contine playing and just gonna play other games instead im just tired of darktide

First thing that should be pressed to devs is changing the crafting system and ironing out the bugs. Then guns and zones. As for enemies- I'm kinda smeh on that. TLDR of world lore- Atoma is now under Nurgle influence, don't expect other chaos god influences because they don't exactly work with each other. And other than walkers and cultists, I could see nurglings being a pain-in-the-ass enemy addition, but if you want something like a Great Unclean one or outright Chaos Spacemaraine boss... this is way too much out of the league for conscripts to fight (plus appearance of this means Atoma is fucked and a full on Spacemarine chapter is on the way, covert conscript work is out the window)

In the end the update would have been decent. - If it didn't took 5 months to release or - If it was released shortly before or after the crafting overhaul. I don't know if the game will die relatively soon, but what is obvious is that Fatshark squandered a golden goose by a combination of a too early release + incompetent managers + incredibly slow content production. Gives me a hard impression that their offices are a dumpster fire that doesn't know what each hand is doing. I wish for the game to succeed, is 40k dammit, but honestly, I don't see Fatshark surfacing above their reputation of mechanically solid games surrounded by untold amounts of BS, unless they do a 180º on their inner structure and start getting stuff done, because 3-4 months of work for this patch feels like a single intern is the only one doing everything.

The game just needs more content. Maybe making a (if possible) a chaos waste type of mission? Or maybe like a DRG deep dive type of 3 missions in one deploy? There is just nothing to do and even my pals say the same. We played it, enjoyed it a lot and like a vermintide 2, we hit the wall. Nothing to do.

No. Vtide 2 remains a way better game. Darktide has fundamentally questionable design choices that make it an inferior game. Self-inflicted wounds.

I truly don't want Darktide to die. I stopped playing about 6 months after launch, saying I'll be back when they fix crafting, I couldn't understand why they just didn't do what they already had in Vermintide 2. I hear and see they are getting better but fuck me did they butcher this game. I still haven't been back because I can't stand everything about the game that isn't actually playing it, and crafting still isn't fixed. The game needs to get rid of a few of the copy/paste weapons and add more complex combos that achieve different things, once they do that then add more weapons, but make them unique to each other. You have 3 Bully Clubs, 2 Thunder Hammers, 3 Tactical Axes, 3 Devil's Claws, 3 Heavy Swords, 3 Ripper Guns, 3 duelling swords (which have NO combo and look boring to use), 2 chain axes (one of which I hear is pretty meh), 2 standard Chain Swords, and more copies out there. That's over 24 wasted guns, wasted art, time balancing, etc. I'd like them to focus on cool combos instead of having 20 copies of weapons.

Main issue is that it's a failed game model in 2024. You cant keep an online community engaged with static maps and slow updates. Lots of great recommendations from the community. And a learning lesson for any developer. Go in at the start with a plan to create maps with more dynamic paths and objectives. If you don't you have a game with a handful of months of popularity except for a handful of die hards. And a model to keep a steady injection of fresh content beyond cosmetics.

Listening to this while getting some miniatures painted. I think you hit the nail on the head; the game is dying and there are a lot of things that need adding to the game to keep it alive. Keeping all the maps similar and inside a grey city was a big mistake, there's nothing wrong with having something ourdoors like a jungle in the southern hemisphere or the sandy wastes outside the city. Also the crafting - big grind with little reward

I for one am not worried about Darktide dying 🙂While it is true that Fatsharks updates/patches tend to take their sweet time we need to remember that one major reason behind this slow pace is that they are dealing with games workshop who guards their ip like crazy and FS needs to run every detail through them before adding anything to the game. Despite that Fatshark does not have a habit of abandoning their games. For example Vermintide 2 is already 6yo game and still gets new content every now and then and the playerbase is (only) a couple of thousand players nowadays. Just compared out of curiosity concurrent player counts on darktide and vermintide 2 and the chart looks strikingly similar :D at launch VT had over 70k and a couple of months later only a little over 10k and now the curves are almost identical with darktide having a few thousand players more. Anyway, let's have patience and purge those heretics while waiting for genestealers/second hive city and whatnot. Random rant over. For the Emperor ✊

Thanks for all of this timings, you're kind of saving me. I'm trying to determine stats for the support weapons, like... I don't know.. damage, for example, using the FX-12 Shield Generator Relay but I suspect it regens HP constantly. So, my new approach is to calculate its HP by calculating the time it takes to break it with the primary weapons and the reload time might be important to get right. I know it's been a while since you posted this video and you may not have the answer but; I'm about to qualify as an NHS paramedic and I'm wondering about transferring my skills to the army. I've had a brief look and it seems most of the opportunities are just providing medical cover for range days and exercises, I feel this is a waste of my training do you know of any frontline roles for paramedics that involve a lot more critical car and trauma management something that I'm more suited too?
