We saw the Prior Park (near Bath) fire two years after this. It's upsetting and surreal to see fire consume a stately property. Prior Park's a school, but maintained better than most. Glad both houses are restored. Clandon Park next!

Very interesting to see this. I lived close to Westhampnett where the river "overtopped" as it has in the past and will do again. All that area covered ni high density housing now.

Really amazing to see the place a drive into and out of daily in such a desperate way, I was only a teenager when this happened but being on the roads now for some years I have good memories of the 2000 floods and I think it was 2010/11 ? I maybe wrong. Hopefully it never gets to that situation again!
