I use to love this gel but it’s definitely not the best for lasting hold for more than 3 days… especially when you apply the amount of product to the hair that you do before the gel… Your hair will be moisturized but definitely frizzy 😩😩 I definitely would use it under a strong hold gel to soften the strong hold but give you lasting hold if that makes sense!

You can use that gel with another strong hold gel. It's good for everything else but not hold. It's very light to medium hold. I use it without a leave in but with another gel, stronger hold gel.❤

I have the same problem with the crown/back part of my hair shrinking more 🙄 I hate it lol. One question, does your hair shrink back up over the days after stretching it??? By the way, I just bought those products 😍and your stretched curl pattern is the same as my un-stretch curl pattern. Literally same, mine is just longer but it's the same!

Eco used to be ny go to gel, but after a few years I feel like my hair started to reject it or maybe the formula changed. The hold wasn't strong enough and for some odd reason it used to burn my eyes 😵💫your braids came out so neat! your results might make me reconsider trying Eco again

I still use Eco… I love the Argan Oil & The Olive Oil but Wetline is my go-to!! For a one product wash and go with gel, you should try MICHE’s Tropical Oasis gel or Nature’s Little Secret Okra defining gel! Both are great without drying out the hair!

ok.. but gel cal be soooo drying so the look n longevity of the style is procured but are we not concerned about the health long term? I stopped using any gel years ago but when I do, its the eco Jamaican/castor/flax 1 or 100% pure aloe vera gel.The Wetline was wayyyy tooo hard of a cast for me. I cdnt ever just use these gels w/o a conditioner/oil... something to counter the hardness/drying/cast.. Im thinking of making a natural home made flax gel though.. Gels are so drying so Im hoping the flax gel will be beneficial.

I 100% agree which is why I would always prefer some type of moisture under my gels, these gels can definitely be drying and leave a hard cast usually those are the ones that I will add additional moisture with but with lighter gels I notice when I use moisture underneath I don’t get the best definition so just using the gel ensures that I will get the best definition and hold. For me and my hair eco styler gels are considered a light gel. Me personally I’m not worried about the long tern health negatives of using these gels only because I’ve been using these gels on my hair for years and I’ve never had any problems I really think it just has to do with how your taking care of your hair underneath these gels and also everyone’s hair is different, everyone’s hair will react differently to these gels, so the factors can vary. I’ve always wanted to make home made flax seed gel I see so many people making it it’s definitely a better alternative. Thank you for sharing 🙌🏼🙏🏼
