Best band ever . Saw them many many times over the years. Sad that all the originals are gone now. I remember when JVZ had his own band, they opened for the Outlaws, with Molly Hatchet and a local band from Greenville /Spartanburg area at the Carowinds amusement park in the early 80’s There were members from Outlaws and Hells Angels .Everybody was toking and passing in every line on all the rides. It was a hell of a show!

This would totally blow my mind if it's the one from my old greenville Memorial auditorium which was their last ever performance!!!

So good, hard to believe gone for 46 years for three members, many decades for more, classic Southern Rock. They all seem so in tune with each other, all those many hot days and nights practicing at the Hell House. Did Steve ever get to see the “House”? Pardon the observation, since they’re all in heaven (Artimus exception) but the graininess of this footage makes it seem like they’re jamming from Heaven. Love them all.

All the members of Lynyrd Skynyrd were so talented and hard~working and they definitely paid their dues. They’re my all time favorite band and now they’re all together againn; in Heaven, and I hope they’re having the the time of their lives. RIP, Freebirds, you’re free at last.

The "YOUNG" Lynyrd Skynyrd Band???? Not long before the crash so they are the ONLY Lynyrd Skynyrd Band. Most everything after that was just a tribute band.

The Rock elite never acknowledged how great the greatest band in Rock history .Pigs don't know good talent when they hear it. In the 70s I lived by Cincinnati I herd all the greats zep. Floyd .all of them no question no doubt .These brothers were THE BEST bar none Zepplin the Stones Pink Floyd didn't hold a candle to LynyrdSkynyrd name one better .There was none better!

Their tragedy would never have happened the little shrimpy tyrant Ronnie Van Zant's gigantic ego trip didnt force everyone onto the that death trap piloted by two coke headed pilots.they were all completely frightened to fly anymore on that shitbox relic of a plane and said so numerous times before the crash.they were only 4 dates into a national tour and they were alredy haveing major mechanical problems like flames coming out of the engines.....freaking everyone out . They were rich enough at that point to charter a lear but dumb ass RVZ was angry and hung over and wanted to sleep and didnt care about the safety of his band mates and friends . It's a known fact that he said plainly "anyone who doesnt fly tonight is fired!" and "When it's your time to go it's your time " .......fucking dick wad hillbilly.

Saw them in Greenville on the last concert. So glad their music lives on. My grandson is a big fan now. He’s older than I was when I saw them in 77. Wow time flies.
