You said if the lock is unresponsive, you need the Physical Key or a USB-C cable. Why does USB-C work if it's unresponsive?

Great video, and out-of-the-box thinking. I have two questions: what is “🌈 Back of TV ON” and how did you make the gesture shortcuts for the workout post-routine? Cheers! 1:25
@AdamsTechLifeКүн бұрын
it turns the the light strip behind my tv on. and for the gestures, I enabled assistive touch and hand gestures on the apple watch from the watch app, and chose the gesture and shortcut to run :) (shortcut must be on the apple watch)

Will you do another video reviewing this product? I myself have been using the original Meross smart plugs for some time now. And I have seen a few videos talking about when the mini ones came out with matter, which are definitely not for me haha. But I’m really curious to see about these! Maybe not as far as replacing all my plugs with these, but definitely for a future purchase!

Your thread/matter problems are strange … 🤔. I’ve a lot of Nanoleaf light strips and HomePod mini and I never has any connection problems … But, that’s true it’s the initial « Thread for HomeKit only » and not the « Thread for matter » version. Maybe a problem of maturity …

Just scheduled a return back to Amazon for these today. Gave them a shot for a week and ultimately they just dropped connection too often to deal with. Was very responsive when it was working, but today was the final nail in the coffin when they just went offline entirely and nothing could bring them back. They just sat there blinking "no connection" despite thread border routers everywhere in this house, and no matter how many times you reset it. Disappointing.

So, let me ask one simple question. If I have HomePod mini, do I still need aqara hub to set all kind of aqara sensors, or can I connect them directly to HomePod mini?
@AdamsTechLife17 күн бұрын
For Aqara Zigbee devices - yes, an aqara hub is required. For an Aqara Matter device - no, aqara hub is not required (though by having one you will get more features) as the device can connect to a homepod mini via thread
@jinkhomes17 күн бұрын
Hello, we are a smart home brand. Our products are based on Matter over Thread and are targeted at mid- to high-end customers. They are connected to HomeKit and do not require any gateway devices. Data is not stored in the cloud and is completely localized. They are deeply loved by Apple users. If you are interested, you can communicate with us. We can provide free samples for your testing.

A couple questions: Can you pair it simultaneously to both Apple for Home Kit, and Aqara for fancier automations? Some reviewers have said this is not possible. If your internet or hub is down does it still work with Apple Home key? Does it have a geofenced Auto Unlock?
@AdamsTechLife19 күн бұрын
Yes, I have it setup in both apps and can do automations from both apps. HomeKey works without internet and it does have geo fence auto lock but is in beta. Thanks for your questions! 😊
