"Unfortunately, killing is one those things that gets easier the more you do it." This line is very true, even just in gaming. I can't count how many times I've tried to keep the blood off my hands in games, but slip up and kill someone and just say "Well, now that that's done, might aswell keep going." No kill playthroughs in MGS are a pain to me because I'm constantly trying not to pull out a lethal gun and kill. Even in other games where killing is necessary, I know I should go but I stay behind a bit to "clean up" and keep killing, even if the game implicitely wants me to run away. And comparing to a few years ago, I'm realising I have a tendency to feed my killstreaks more and more.

thats not true... Snake had follow his path his sin. Others are on jail forever like otacon.... When people cry for others they know what kind of jail they are. When you set free from the jail thers a price to pay but rewards could appear or not. I used the ketchup to go away from the jail , others are watching me better everyday and asking what is going on ? Who are you ? Where you came from ?. They dont know , they will not know and i will make my name by my own foot even if i die i tryed. I choosed the difficult path but its my choice if i win i will set free more people but at there im fighting at the battlefield. Dont forget the soldier you are please :) . Love is a thing does not exist when people say i love you its not truth they saw on you what they dont have. Soldier i have to go i received another wet mission to do see you later

It's favourite childhood game too... Solid snake was an example for me. He is so brutal, calm and skilled warrior. I didn't know yet, what in mgs1 we play on "PATRIOTS" side against Liquid snake who tried to destroy patriots and create new OUTER HEAVEN

It's so crazy how games like this get so real. Taking another life in any way effects you. Wether your a soldier, operating in self defense or even just snapping. Marines will come back after their first kill and just have a blank stare for a few days but theyre different after that forever. Metal gear outlines the pain of war pretty well sometimes.

To me Solid Snake is only a clone of the true Hero of their age. And he works for the true villians of the whole story. The people Snake fights are the victims attacked and broken by the badguys to appear like the villians. When they try to save the world, they make a mistake and become terrorists you have to put down. The only reason he didn't fall down a dark path is because he was saved by people like Meryl, Otacon, and Frank. He learned compassion, sacrafice, and loss which helped him develop an identity and realize he wasn't really the hero he thought he was. Only in the end did he earn the right to be the hero he wanted to be.
