I prefer real wool vs acrylic because doesn't pollute the oceans . but let's hope one day wool grows in a laboratory so it can be more sustainable in modern times of human overpopulation

We don't shear sheep for money, it costs us more in the UK to get the sheeps fleeces off then the wool is sold for to China. We shear them because they will die from maggots or heat in the summer if we don't.

It's sold for less then the cost of production... Sorry I thought that you were saying you wouldn't buy wool in the future as it wouldn't be sustainable with a growing population. I was just pointing out it's not about sustainability with wool it's just a basic welfare task. Thank you for wearing real wool, it's so warm in the cold!

Logie Durno Sheep arrh right, is the logie blue slightly smaller then? I'm thinking of a tup to cross on to ne mules to breed a kind of pure mule ish type ewe. Looked at aberfield, didn't like the respond of the salesman. Then thought fronteira, then saw logie blue. Smaller size and lleyn blood maybe better than charollaise blood I'm thinking? I think I need to speak to you in person in due course.

ahh ok that would be really interesting crossing the Logie Blue to create a female line to keep from your mules. The Logie Blues are very good at holding their condition and laying down fat which will be a great addition to mules which tend to be quite hungry and high input. Those rams in the video are born outside and were not creep fed or fed for sale so are pretty hardy and smart.
