Interesting how the title says 440 yet the air cleaner and the plugs in the center of the valve covers say Hemi.

I don't recall ever seeing the front nose mounted with peeling rubber stripping before maybe I'm getting old and forgetful. There was an orange Superbird in my St Petersburg Florida neighborhood that sat under a tree for a decade rusting away to almost nothing the old man who lived there died in the middle 80's if memory is right and car was finally sold to a restoration company . His son bought it new in 1970 then went into Vietnam war was killed there and the father must have been approached thousands of times over the years with offers to buy it. Real nice guy was always polite and just said my son loved this car more than anything else in this world and it's gonna sit right where he last drove and parked it until I die and that it did. 😥

Unfortunately, this example had it's vinyl roof removed. And the imperfect body work around the the back glass cleaned up. This should diminish the resale value.

you are right, I was confused because all Superbirds left Creative industries with a vinyl top, because of the shoddy work around the rear window.

Shoe Horn in a V8 ??? They came from the factory with V8s...I used to do V8 swaps in a weekend...drive in..drive out ! disc brakes and all...302s are easy to come by and take a wide variety of transmissions its the easiest engine swap there is...period !!! and the Windsor is not much heavier than the original six...Windsor engines are easy to mod and go like hell...and are bullet proof !

The Ecoboost 4cyl turbo may be a little lighter, but yeah a V8 Windsor would fill in the engine bay and be able to be modded with parts aplenty, and options for transmissions.

I love A body's, this is a beautiful car. The only thing that's a little off and strange are the wheels. They don't have that usual factory appearance of say a Mob Steel wheel way to bowl shaped. But definitely a beautiful car.

This Dart has the stance more like a pro touring restomod than a traditional street rod, but the look is going for stock with a modern wheel and tire size and lowered all around stance. Usually you see A-body mopars have a raked stance with the front end lower than out back.

Not a problem for dealers more of a problem for manufactures. Most dealers of any size usually operate on a floor plan line of credit so they don’t buy em outright. Small dealers usually do

I really like my Ram 1500. But it needs to be the affordable option- especially for a platform that hasn’t changed much in 20 years. Drop prices 20%+ and the market will respond better.

I can't say it's exactly my cup of tea but it's quite well done and very straight and clean. I'd personally go with a fatter tire and lose that front air dam but for the most part, a nice little ride. Not unattractive. At least it's a Ford engine if not the one I'd have chosen. I was afraid I was going to see some ridiculous rotary or 2JZ rice burner or worst of all, a bunch of batteries and 2 or 3 sewing machine motors. If that had been the case then we'd have had no choice but to strap the owner into the seat and consign the f*cking thing, nice as it is otherwise, back to the foundry to start over.

In 1973 My first car was a 67 gto. Found a tri power for my 389. Motor looked just like that. So proud of it I left the hood off😊

My first car was a 1968 Dodge Dart. But it was just a regular four door sedan. It was the same color as the one in the video. It had a 225 slant six and auto transmission. It also had a black interior. Many a time I wish I still had that car!

Yes, the tire and wheel combination is very ugly and the back looks a little strange. It looks like it could have been a four-door shortened to a two-door

Everyone is trying to reinvent the wheel, but nobody knows how to make it round,with that said, I get what your trying to do with the look however the oversized steelies just don't work,they never do, if you used 15 inch steelies and you would have nailed it...
