Hi I appreciate the content and info. Was a bit bothered when you said you had no idea why they have issues with journalists. if you look up a bit of history and current events of whats going on in the country you are visiting you would be able to understand. Might also be a good idea to do for safety reasons. I usually dont comment but lets not be ignorant tourists traveling around to other countries.

The chocolate line is far from the best chocolate shop, it is the typical tourist trap by being exceedingly expensive…. Depla is the place to go to 😐

When crossing land borders do you need to worry about being asked for proof of onward travel?

Depends on the country. For €10 you can get a legit onward ticket that gets cancelled after a day automatically

I’ve gotten a cheap onward ticket that gets cancelled for when I start my trip in Mexico, but I’m unsure if I need to continue doing that even though I will be crossing land borders from then on. Did you find you needed this proof when travelling through Central America?

Greetings! We are just back on Celebrity Apex after our excursion “Bruges On Your Own”. Wonderful place. We actually were inspired to do this excursion when we watched this video last fall. We bought chocolate at The Chocolate Line and had the Flemish Beef Stew at De Vlaamsche Pot. Oh my was that delicious!!! Even the bread was a notch up 😊 Thank you for the great content and excellent descriptions to find the sites!! ❤
