Mercury 450 R , the R stands for REPAIR often total pieces of shit , my buddy has a relatively new 2 yearold 47 freeman quad 450R , stayed broken wound up replacing with 400 regular Mercury's . Next boat yamaha

I’m sure at some point the weight and drag of more engines would outweigh any benefits from more , wouldn’t it be just as fast with half the engines with more power each ?, someone who knows boats please explain ?
