They do look from the 90's. Typical from cheap speakers from the era. It could have been from a little early also. The speaker sound what I expected, not that bad. They are decent for ambient sound I think.

Hey man thanks for posting. Very nice speaker cool to see the inside of the unit. That version of your Minimus 7 is the Japan version..that's the more sought after ones. Both speakershave rather large magnets for their size. Great video.

Not bad at all! It may look like a crappy QFX or Sylvania, but this thing seems to be good and it even has a tweeter plus a bass port. I believe the whole thing is at least 15 watts.
