That until you pump gasoline into it. In 1970 you could buy gasoline for 28.9 cents a Gallon. Almost everyone could have a barge . Sometimes they give a glass or trading stamps and it was a full service. Today you pay $3.30 a gallon and you pump yourself unless you are in New Jersey. Money still bought of worth. Even pocket change had value.

My favorite is (17) the '61 Buick Special. I used to have one years ago, only mine was an off-white color. It was an excellent vehicle, and I bought it for just a few hundred dollar$. I don't remember the exact price, or exact year. I've had so many cars.
