Your first dislike is spot on, its funny I have one 3 years now , no real problems its my dirt bike and i love it,, i get aww its chinease , it wont last blah blah, , most of this comes from guys who ride some old japanese thing thats about 15yrs old , or just china bshing - then i tell them i own 5 ducatis, inc a Multistrada ,and i think its better off road than the Multi , that usually shuts them up.yeah the cam shaft thing is not relavant to the mt different head , different tune..

I went from an FTR to the ibex😂 definitely a different experience but in my personal experience it’s a lot nicer of a ride. I do agree that the fueling could be better but I think Main Street cycle offers a tune.

The fuelling isn't too smooth under 3500 rpm, the quick shifter is a little temperamental, the menu system is a little tricky until you get used to it and it would be nice to have the tyre pressures on the main screen instead of having to go looking for them. I've hit a few false neutrals when doing lazy changes but apart from those few items a good bike for the money.

Great to hear you are still loving your complete package. Extending your riding season is such a wonderful advantage of your bike. The way that cyclone just ripped through Mirboo North was terrifying, to see all those trees that just got snapped in half demonstrates the power of nature.

So I take it the luggage didn’t come with the bike like here in UK. What was the tank bag you had please

Hey, this particular bike didn’t come with the luggage because it was imported for use by the track officials at the Australian round of the MotoGP. I bought it as is with 300kms on it for $12,000AUD. The tank bag is a Nelson Rigg CL-1045

Yes, absolutely - the bracket and box cost $700AUD combined and I believe the box is 36L.

Cheers from balmy Arizona. This is the first time Ive seen these color scheme on an 800MT, even if it’s a wrap job. It looks amazing mate!! Safe travels 🫡🇺🇸🌵

Thanks mate! It’s a factory colour believe it or not - I reckon it looks like something that Master Chief from Halo might find himself riding. Appreciate the comment all the way from the US 😃

So glad the 800MT has been a reliable companion during your recovery. The 450MT has been selling like hot cakes. I think it will be a big turning point for CFMOTO's acceptance. The Tyers to Rawson Rd is one of my favorites, probably ride it once a fortnight. Just a little tricky in winter when the sun filters through the trees and you get that strobe effect making it a little hard to see the road surface at times, just like many forest roads. Congratulation on 50 subs Ben.

Thanks so much for the comment and +1 for the strobing effect of the winter sun bursting through the trees. Definitely makes things difficult! The 450MT looks like a great bike - I’d love to try one. Hope to see you at Rawson one day ;)

Check out the Gippsland Ports website. It says 3.8m but the river level has been high more often than not lately. If you do the trip, please let me know how you went. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did! www.gippslandports.vic.gov.au/ports-and-waterways/ports-and-waterways/gippsland-lakes/
