Couldn't agree more as I just built my car with forged stuff and turbo, and was going through it with little issues everywhere. I think the biggest thing for me, is that these builds don't happen overnight. Big car youtubers like Adam LZ, Jimmy Oakes, etc all build these cars in weeks. You have to think that their job is to literally make content, unlike us normal people where we have day jobs. I originally thought I was going to build my motor in a winter, ended up being almost a year because I was waiting on shops to do some work for me (honing/decking block). Two years later I finally got my car put on a standalone and tuned. It was so worth it though because I learned so much about how engines work, turbos work, tuning, just overall maintenance.

Can't say enough how accurate every single one of your points are. I built my turbo Corolla when covid happened and I'm still working out small issues here and there. If I didn't build it myself I would have blown up my built engine by now. Keep up the hard work , love your content! Hopefully your videos help out other people trying to build their cars.

I think expressing all of your thoughts out loud while having been through such a journey can only be truly appreciated and understandood by people who have also been through such thing. Though it's really admirable and informative watching such a video. I just m 50 swapped my e30. Here in Greece it's almost impossible to have an engine larger than 2L because of tax. So not many people know how to do such a swap. Although I was able to make it all on my own. Keep it real and greetings from Greece.
