This may be touted as "genius" but it's actually just cheap, and worst of all... it is reckless. There is absolutely NO chance that this method of construction stands against a magnitude 7, let alone an 8 or 9. This is pure internet bullshit at it's peak.

As a crafter myself, although not of beautiful intricate items, I all too often hear such from customers & otger crafters. There are those who feel paying more for something made by machine due to having a brand name, elevates them. Where as having something carefully made by hand is of less value. And we wonder why many of the arts of times gone by are vanishing.
