I really feel you on the thrift shops. The ones in my area are SO expensive and for what? One I got so excited in because I found my absolute dream quilt (like thrift bucket list for at least a decade) and it was $50 🥲 I grew up shopping at thrift stores and I don’t remember anything being $50 except furniture. I feel like the more curated shops and also estate sales are best.

I have my eyeliner tattooed (permanent make-up) and that was quite uncomfortable, but still doable. My best friend had her lips tattooed as well as her eyeliner and she said the lips were a bit more sore to get done than the eyes. She has a lot of tattoos, so she’s used to the needles, but the face is a whole different ball game she said. Go for it! Lip blushing fades a bit faster than eyes and eyebrows, so it’s definitely not permanent and freaky-outy like other procedures. x

This might be very American of me to comment but it really bothers me that you throw your cherry pits and stems into the grass at public parks and stuff. They contain cyanide, which is toxic to animals, and dogs love to eat grass and will likely eat the pits and get sick. Anyway, just something to consider if you haven't before!

7:20 with the ducks :))) I don't really know how or why but you inspire me so much to live more unapologetically, I love that, thank you <3 Also, I know you already have your go-to mascara but if you ever want to try something new, I love the Judydoll Iron Mascara, not sure if you can get it where you live but it's so good... the way the wand is made, it makes application and separation of the lashes so precise.

I read too many horror stories about ink bleeding out with time or butchered jobs to ever consider tattooing lips or eyes 😅 also skin on lips is quite different and there's constant friction with eating and such, I wonder if it reacts differently then body tattoos.

Joni was adopted from a shelter as a kitten but I think fostering animals is really incredible. If i were to get another pet I'd definitely consider fostering first

do you ever buy get books from a library or do you normally buy them? my dad is always encouraging me to go to the library but i love to crack a spine and build my own collection- it also feels sometimes like the book was written just for me if i write in it or am the first that read the exact copy!

I typically buy books but only because it's a huge part of my job. I need to be able to reference physical books so it makes a lot more sense for me personally to buy them. Libraries are such an incredibly under utilized public resource and so if there's one accessible to you then you should totally use it. There's nothing more punk rock than the public library :)

Congrats on the new flat! It's funny/cool that you can just choose/look at an apartment like that and move there. Like, in most European cities there are huge housing crises going on, so getting an even better flat in the same building would be a huge jackpot. 😀

that's so fascinating. I think when you live in a smaller city like I do affordable housing is relatively easily to find. Especially if you want to live in historical buildings with little to no renovations done. It's also pretty common here for older buildings to have bigger and smaller units within them and once you live in a building it's very easy to notify your building manger that you're interested in moving around within your own building.
