GM is good at making light and medium duty passenger trucks. When it comes to medium and heavy duty work trucks, they are absolute GARBAGE. The worst of the worst.

Mary Berra has made electric Vehicles a religion at GM. Force her to go out into the real world where we all live and go through the ENTIRE vehicle ownership process from purchase (finance) to five year ownership experience. Hopefully it would educate her but probably not. Absolutely NO reason for you to be going through this.
@crockett513 сағат бұрын
I had a 2019 Chevy 5500. It did 150k miles with only 1 minor part breaking. It then had an emissions system problem and that's when I found out GM had zero part inventory for these trucks. They used all the spare parts during covid to keep building new trucks so they have none of the parts for the early models. A simple turbo actuator put me out of business an $800 part because not a single dealer in the country had one for my truck and they were on back order for 5 months with no delivery date while my truck was broke down. The computers on these truck are encrypted so the only option would be take whole turbo system from different model which would have been thousands of dollars.. I tried to go through international but their turbo actuators were programed different and wouldn't work. I couldn't even use one from a newer model because they also were programed different and no one could reprogram the commercial units. I hauled cars so my truck was the entire business it being down 5 months and me not even being able to sell or trade it in put me out of business. Absolutely screw GM... I will never buy another new vehicle from them again.
@WorldsOkayestFarmer13 сағат бұрын
@@crockett5 man I’m sorry to hear that at least you got 150k out of it. I have had so many problems. I totally understand going out of business its crippling. I only had the one truck hauling aggregates for people. Still a huge parts back order. Pursing legal action now. I wasn’t able to trade the truck in on my new one because it was still broke. Paying for two now. One I requested a buy back they wouldn’t do anything for me anymore and denied buy back. I see why the government had to bail them out.
