Thank hou so much for this video!! My mother and I have been doing diamond paintings for a while for fun (I get her to do it to keep her mind active because she's 79) and I'm SO tired of messing with the glue that comes with it. I am definitely going to try the glue dots at 3/16 inch! Thank you again! And I'm going to your shop right now! ❤

Can you go keft to right? You mentioned right to left, I think.

Just a suggestion; try using the glass from the picture frame to position where you need to cut.

My 91 year old mother was so full of anticipation to get this. About $29.00 with shipping. She was devastated that it doesn’t work. She is a retired seamstress for ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. And could not get it to work. My wife still works for RBBBC and could not get it to work either. DON’T BUY IT!!! JUNK😡

Thank you for this video, I will go buy some glue dots for my tips. I dislike replacing wax, and keep trying to pick up diamonds over and over when the wax is giving up. This seems like a good solution

Looks like double work if you have to pick them up first to fill it.

So, if you think $7.50 per brick is expensive, try ordering it from Australia. It's AU $13.22 per brick, but the real killer is the postage. (AU $42.47.) With a little tax thrown in, the grand total was AU $61.27. (That's US $40.45) I only ordered one brick from Etsy to see if I like it or not. All I can say is I hope it's worth it! Thanks for your tips on how to use it. Looks like you have enough PaddyWaxx to last you a lifetime. I can't blame you since you said they smell divine. 😂 I love coconut, so I ordered Bamboo Coconut. 🎍🥥

Shipping is ridiculous in the states and even more so overseas. It always shocks me when someone orders from over there for one item. I hope it doesn't disappoint for that price 🫣
@SpikeLover18633 ай бұрын
@@DPbyDoni I have a friend in the US and we mail each other birthday/Xmas gifts so I knew the postage for PaddyWaxx would be expensive. Postage is also expensive between Australia and Germany. I hope the PaddyWaxx is worth it, too. I'll definitely let you know if I like using it.

How do I get the ruler started correctly? I keep having dots not completely covered.
@DPbyDoni3 ай бұрын
It sounds like you don't have the correct sized ruler for your canvas. If you go to the listing in my shop and read the description, it will tell you exactly how to figure out what size ruler you need for that canvas. I also have a link to my video that shows you how to do the measuring in that description. Here is the link for the ruler listing. drillpenfrenzy.etsy.com/listing/723421622

ive watched the video on how to measure, but mine lands on the first half of the spot, not in between at all.
@kimberlybernard90634 ай бұрын
Start by placing your mesh ruler in the top left corner, fill in all drills, peel off ruler and reapply it to the right, using the scalloped edge to skirt along the drills you just placed. Fill in drills. Repeat process across. Then place mesh again along the left side, using the scalloped top edge to skirt along the placed drills. Repeat until done. I only have 1 row that I have to place by eye.

I recently had a canvas arrive from AliExpress and noticed that some of the adhesive was missing on the edge. I bought some (clear) tacky PVA glue from my local discount store and I appreciate your tip about letting the glue dry before applying the drills. That didn't even occur to me. I hope that I'll get a good result with the glue I chose. If not, I'll order one of the brands you used. Thanks again. 😃
