That is quite true. The privilege is real. To add on context, I feel like there was no way I would have extended my trip if I didn't already have a non-refundable ticket 2 days getting laid off. I was going to attend a friend's wedding. I just extended it to attend another friend's wedding.

You are absolutely right. Having a support system through tough times is such a privilege. I am so grateful to my partner, Eli, for supporting me throughout the process and beyond. He helped, both financially and emotionally. On days when I couldn't leave the bed, he would always come and offer to play a board game or take our dog for a walk or just talk. He is the absolute best, and I am beyond lucky for his love and support ❤️

Haha, thanks for noticing. I made that back in 2020,but it still helps me to this day lol. I don't have much on the walls of my office. But his one isn't going anywhere. :)
