How you doing buddy? I started my taper today. 10 year 30 gram a day habit. I have mad respect for this amazing plant. Its a shame i abuse it and can't use it medicinally. I believe God put this stuff here to help us and its for us to respect the power of the plant. If not we suffer the consequences

Hey Bro, proud of you man. I’m currently trying to quit…again. I’m at 24 hours. The tiredness, low mood, lack of motivation is rough. Hopefully it doesn’t happen this time but once I hit the night 2 the restless legs and no sleep comes in. Usually sticks around for a few days after that. I personally decided to quick because Kratom lost its magic. It got to the point just like OXY its efficacy waned. I was not getting the euphoria anymore and was taking it to feel normal. Yeah addict stuff. I’m my heights I got up to about 50gpd per day. I’ve been at around 28 gpd. Thats what I’m coming off of. I feel like day 1-2 isn’t that bad, once day 3 hits it ramps up. The literal no sleep, can’t stay still and so DIFFICULT to eat anything let alone exercise and do the things we know we should. The motivation it saps and the ambition is nuts. Hope you are doing well. God bless.

I'm on suboxone because of kratom but in the end found out it wasn't kratom and no one knows what it actually was but they have stopped selling it because people were getting physically addicted to it being sold as a Kratom extract high potency. I was waking up every 4 hours in full blown withdrawals basically sick as fk. Kratom made me crap enormous turds that really hurt to pass. The powder is very dense. The taste is horrific. Then I found these pills and became physically addicted. Suboxone is bad too but I'm not having really bad withdrawals from it. Personally because it's not regulated there have been trace amounts of toxic substance in that powder.

Hey man, congrats on day 7. Or, I guess it's more like day 14 by now. Yeah look, no matter how you do it, you're going to have to feel SOME level of discomfort. If you're not in a rush and are actually able to stay honest on a taper - do it. Cold turkey is possible, but the reality is, people who do it thinking, "Oh, it'll just be a few really bad days and then I'll be fine" are VERY naive. The taper doesn't just make the physical symptoms less intense (although more drawn out) but it gives you time to adjust to not just taking kratom at what ever dose and time you want. It helps you slowly relearn living without the stuff.

@@bellabookitty9014 no need to pardon I am glad to be of any any help. NMN is in capsule form over the counter and it helps rejuvenate the cells in the body. It’s main purpose is endurance enhancement for athletes so after stopping Kratom, you’ll feel heavy and tired so NMN helps with it. It can be expensive but we’ll worth it and you won’t need to take it forever 9 ME BC is a brain nootropic compound and helps reset the neurological pattern. Stopping Kratom will leave your brain asking for dopamine and won’t be able to make its own so soon (about 6-9 weeks). 9mebc will help restore faster. Modafinil isn’t over the counter. Been taking it years and I just don't get the need to start overdosing on it. Maybe it's a personality thing idk but I've never felt omg I gotta take 10g... The buzz doesn't get any better and side effects get worse, stick to the sweet spot and take breaks with a little self control and you'll be fine.

Right there with you dude. I’m currently tapering off of 3 OPMS liquid extract shots a day. Last summer, I promised myself I couldn’t go through another summer like this. The last year and a half I started demanding job where I wake up at 5a, drive 1.5-2hrs to work, and don’t get home until 7pm. Barely any personal time or freedom to do shit. Just gave up trying to socialize; went into hibernation. I’ve been tapering since December, going super slow. Idk what dosage you’re at but I bet you’ll be able to kick it man. That feeling you describe when the spring hits and we think of quitting K, the shitty feeling of hibernating, I always get that man. Described it perfectly

All right so I just want to say for anyone trying to do this. Since my last comment I have successfully quit and restarted kratom. I want about a solid 7 days before 90% of the symptoms were gone. So I was using a bunch of supplements. Idk if anything worked. It was straight hell. I'll tell you what though. If you are in a safe position to do it. Just drink your way through it. I had ten days off work and was staying in a cabin with no one around. Day two I just started drinking heavy. It's all still intense but alcohol is like armor. I just drank and listened to music until I would fall asleep for a couple hours and wake up and start again. And if you have good friends just keep as many on the phone as you can laughing and talking about old times and shit. Made it all quite doable. Anyway since all that I realized I love kratom and now I'm back down to a reasonable amount and all is well. Good luck everyone. Don't blame the drugs.

They basically are gonna put me to sleep and then pump me with naltrexone to force me into precipitated withdrawal while I’m under. When they wake me up the majority of the w/d is going to be over.

I wish kratom would work for me but after twenty plus years on opiates u name it from street opiates to methadone, suboxone currently on Kadian Morphine Sulfate I get five 100s a day and it’s not enough. Opiate use disorder is a hell of a disorder to get under control. I have taken kratom over the years when trying to stop opiates but I just could never last and relapse soon after. The thing with kratom vs regular opiates is kratom triggers both serotonin and dopamine receptors wile opiates just triggers dopamine but opiates bind to dopamine receptors much more than kratom. But stoping kratom u have to deal with a serotonin and dopamine dump opiates just dopamine like I said regular opiates affect dopamine receptors on a much more powerful level. Like any drug it’s best to tapper. A tapper done right you will hardly notice even when u totally stop. Paws post acute withdrawal symptoms can last months cravings come and go during this time so be careful the mind and body are still adjusting during paws but paws is when 99% of people relapse. If u never done opiates or kratom don’t touch them.

@@squibbelsmcjohnsonI've been using for almost 7 years now due to having constant physical pain, worst that's ever happened to me is prolonged elevated heart rate from an extract once, or taking too much at once causing me to puke it up. I only take as much as I need to mitigate the pain especially so that I can fall asleep and not just be laying in bed in pain unable to sleep. I need to get to a physical therapist and chiropractor and see if I can get whatever is wrong with me fixed which seems to be a rotator cuff impingement of my right arm/shoulder. I can get it to not be so bad if I stretch everything out properly but with an impingement at a certain point you can't stretch it out, you need to go limp so that somebody else, the chiropractor, can move your bones back into place. Unfortunately we have to fight currently because towns are starting to pass bans on kratom lumping it in with synthetic drugs due to being sold at smoke shops.

Tabatta Sprinting is extremely excellent for feeling great and also short spurts on the bike in the heaviest gears. For about 30 seconds pushing as hard as you absolutely can. Its soo good to just feel great naturally.

Most underated comment/knowledge. I am an ex-Iv Fent. user - sober for 3.5 years and DLPA was such a HUGE (and still continues to be) ASSISTANCE in recovery as it inhibits certain proteins that will allow you to "reclaim" or produce .. probably better to understand it as a vitamin?* supplement?* that helps produce endorphins and dopamine. It's not a drug, and it doesn't innebriate you whatsoever. What it does do is assist someone who is not producing enough endorphins do so - where as otherwise the brain/body has a very difficult time re-adjusting and balancing out. DLPA ftw.

@@TK-sz6nj nice! Yeah there are two kinds D- phenylalanine and L-phenylalanine. Both pretty much do the same thing but are the precursors for L-Tyrosine and the precursor for dopamine. All which are essential for rebuilding the brain after drug use. I actually just got my first order today from Amazon. As I am going to quit the kratom again. And I'll never go back to that ever again. I was able to quit years ago but for whatever dumb reason I decided I would tell myself I would microdose. But it doesn't work. Once an addict always an addict. Never ever going back again this time. But I'm confident I'll get through it again because I don't use nearly as much as I did before. And this time I know what it takes now to get through it and what to expect. Except this time now I also have the supplements to help rebuild the brain faster. I'm actually looking forward to it. Just finished my bike ride too. It's time to absolutely master my mind and get to my ultimate financial goals and fitness goals and absolutely obliterate all doubt, fear and depression. We all got this, just have a plan and take action and stay consistent and build motivation and have goals and reward your self with more challenges and more goals. No excuses. Sometimes I wonder why even quit? People get weirdly spiritual/philosophical after they quit. It's like they're emotionally unstable. I understand if it's causing health problems or you're spending too much money. I've been on kratom for 10 years and I have no intention on ever quitting. I'm so much more able to regulate my emotions. Before I discovered kratom I was clingy and had emotions that were way out of control. Like someone with BPD or something.
