This is exactly what i was looking for! The spring on the back is the perfect solution for my problem. Question: to get the original door to pivot correctly, did you remove it from its hinges? Im assuming the pivot hinges are attached to the bookcase itself, and as im working out my own door solution, my brain says the pivot point would cause the original door hinges to cause a clashing pivot point. Maybe I'm overthinking, but yours is the first ive seen with the original bathroom door intact, which is what im trying to figure out.

CA for the finish was surprising, never seen that done👍 Alternatively, a UV cured resin (this resin only gets hard when exposed to UV light...sunlight works, but takes a little longer).
