Should have at least given credit in the description for where the design came from - Jer Schmidt, who developed it five months before this was posted. He sells plans, so if you want to build it, search for his name on YT.

Is WD40 good enough for cutting threads or is it best to use the proper oil they sell. It's more expensive but I felt it make the threads much easier. Does it really matter or is it just important to use any oil based substance for cutting threads or drilling metal?? I have only really begun welding but I kept blowing through the metal. It's only 2.5/3mm thick square tubing. I found I was keeping the rod too far away from the metal and not pushing it into the welding area. It blew holes in the metal. Once I started finding the right distance it became much easier. Do u have any tips for that my friend. Is it OK to hold the rods in close as long as I wear my gloves. This rods get really hot. One more question. Would it be best to heat the metal before starting to weld it especially metal so thin?? I thought it might help?? I welded 40x40mm x 2.5mm Square tubing. It's just a frame for a table top of a table saw I'm building. Would it be best to kind of weld in spots along the line of the weld bcos at 55-60A I found a good balance with the 2.0 6013 rods. These rods are very thin. If I was welding 1/4" or 1/2" metal would it be best to use 7018 3.2 or bigger?? My apologies for so many questions pal. I love this build. It has so many moving parts to it. I look forward to watching more of the videos on ur channel . Keep up the great work bro..
