I'll never forget my experience listening to this album for the first time. I was on a walk through the town I live in, in the late afternoon and the further I got into the album; the less familiar my surroundings became to me. As I reached the final, extended and surreal outro to Unmarked Grave, I reached an empty downwards hill and the sky began to darken. My thoughts started to flood with panic as I recognised that I had never been there before and it was getting too late to be out. As the instrumental continued to build on itself, my anxiety grew and my thoughts became more irrational (feeling my chest tighten up and my breathing beginning to get heavier). Finally, when the song cut off and swiftly became Walking Over You, the panic left and I turned a corner to a place that I recognised. Very few albums have given me such a visceral experience which is why I'll love this one forever.

Does anyone know if there is a "Part 1"?
@Bojangles126Ай бұрын
Yup there is, but it isn't by Windy & Carl. If you search for the "Bliss Out" series by Darla Records you can find the catalog - there are 20 volumes in total, with each one being by different artists. Windy & Carl only appear on Vol. 2 but there's a lot of good stuff in the series, worth checking out imo

genious , daimonos , sounds like syd barrett from the underworld , from the dark side of the moon , the invocation of pinky floyds demon brother , the twin sister , shiva live from the ashes of pompeji , or bobby beausoleil on cold turkey from his bloody ritual house , playing lucifer falling , process going ... evocating the archaic angel , deathvalleyfolk , 5 hours celebrating circling eternity . playing on look out mountain watching venus falling into the western seas...
