The biggest joke is that show looks like a Larp event version of vikings. Theres nothing historically accurat in this.

As heart wrenching as the show was, my only saving grace is that Finan and Sihtric made it out alive. I would have died inside if I had to watch one of them go, too.

Osferth went from a disgraced monk with crippling anxiety to a sassy warrior bro that had women drunkenly fighting over him. Character. Development.

Some that weren't in here but are my favorite Brida: Leofric, how did you manage to get such a big head into such a small helmet? Leofric: It was necessary. Gisela: I am happily married. Odda: I pray my wife feels the same way. Alfred: Oh I'm sure she does Odda, she so rarely sees you. And how could anyone forget. Steapa: so the Abbess may enter and I may not? Finan: we are afraid of the abbess.

i'm getting really sick of repeating myself. i know that i missed some scenes. whether that be because i forgot them (as i did this from memory), or because i didn't find that particular scene funny, or because i didn't have the best quality and didn't wanna add it in

@@43sweetgirlRespectfully, I don't think these comments are meant to be taken as an actual critique of your video 😅. It was a gorgeously done and hilarious compilation, but TLK is a hilarious show and I believe most people don't *actually* expect you to fit in every single joke or moments that they find particularly. It seems to me that they're just calling out their fave moments that they missed and not hating on the fact that you didn't include those moments. Basically, don't sweat these types of comments, they're not attacking your work (even if they are, ignore them). It's also not necessary to keep replying to them, a like would be sufficient or even nothing at all. You did a brilliant job and I hate to see you continue to feel attacked by comments, even after so long.

@@megriorso4516 i know some aren't meant to come off as critical, but most start with "you forgot" or "you missed" - insert scene -. and that starts to become really annoying. because i'm fully aware that i didn't include scenes that others might have found funny. i know some are commenting on which scenes they liked and found funny, and that's great, i love reading them. but some are wording it in a way that comes across as a little critical. plus, a video like this will always be subjective. some scenes others find funny, i might not and vice versa. but thank you for commenting and adding a little reassurance, that is very lovely of you.

@@43sweetgirl Of course ❤️. This video always cracks me up whenever I come across it, it's an absolute gem. I can't imagine how annoying those comments must be to read, they must be so grating sometimes. Nevertheless, try not to let them get too under your skin ❤️

I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this but I really don't like this show, I've tried to watch it but it just doesn't fit the books in my opinion, from appearances to characterisation it just completely misses the mark.

I respect your opinion, you shouldn’t hate it.😊but I want to defend the kind of series. A 1:1 film adaptation of Cornwell’s 13 books is simply not possible due to the abundance of the material. Why do I still find this series appropriate? It presents the history correctly during this time. It conveys a real atmosphere. It shows how it could be to be torn between faiths, not to be recognized because you have the wrong faith and your home was stolen. A lot of text for a so-called action series. 😂The main actor has well grasped the impudence, the insolence, the suffering and the female heroes, I personally did not need an optical copy of the book. And the most important thing, they have managed to maintain the arc of tension in every season. Not to mention many new things in lighting, directing, humor, human warmth, little cgi and last but not least the soundtrack. So the series is not just a stubborn book adaptation, but has recognized and implemented the essence of Bernard’s books in my eyes. Last but not least, the author wrote a dedication for Alex and the whole crew in the last book (Warlord). With my comment, I just wanted to let you know that there could also be another view of the film adaptation. Warm regards
