So, where are you at? At least the state. . . Are you on a private claim, or private river?

Was that in Montana? Playing in the water isn't hot. The flies where we were at sucked (literally) though. How bout where you were at?
@alanrobertson25102 күн бұрын
Yes in Montana. So far so good with the fires here. You guys did have it bad over there.

Looks like you folks had a good couple days on the gold ! Nice work for the few buckets you ran. At least your're 20 degrees cooler up there. Too hot right now where I'm at. You'll definitely bake your brains ! Good luck out there !!

Heck ya that’s some nice gold from that spot an adjustable flair is a good idea one that you could put into the grooves like a leg leveler and a half circle pivot point with holes and a pin to adjust the width of the flairs. 2 feet long with another 2 feet piece that slides inside the first piece with a screw lock to adjust from 2’ to 4’ long…. Lol just kidding that’s pretty complicated there are much easier ways. Great video of the continuation of the vacation. Looking forward to the rest. Thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
@alanrobertson25102 күн бұрын
So I did make the flair and tried it out this week and it works well. It is adjustable might need to put a bottom in it if I get a chance to do it before we head out this week. There is some good gold in that spot and going back this week. Take care.

Did Kevin get any gold out of his (socks and shoe) sluice😅 It’s my guess that you’ll do great on that bar. If anyone can figure out a solution to direct much better flow into your sluice, it is you.
@alanrobertson25102 күн бұрын
Nope no gold in the socks. Going back this week to hit it again. The new flare works well just a bit more tinkering with it. Thanks for watching Mark

That would work. I think they might have some problems if we dig big holes in the campground. The gold did get better as the week went on.

Hi Alan, John in West Texas I just found out you have vids on youtube and enjoyed this one very much. I got a creek about 500 feet below the house but stays dry most of the time. As I told you not long ago there's no gold in Texas. The only gold I can get is buying paydirt. Hope to save up for one of those sluice boxes you make eventually. Maybe I can come out your way sometime Take care.

Yup if the gold hits your mats it sticks they are gold magnet mats. Looking forward to more from your week of prospecting after vendetta prospecting ran that choke test on the hobby miner sluice and mats with an ounce of gold and 20 pounds of rocks and black sands and caught it all I was happier than a pig in sh** with my purchase some people may question if it’s worth it… I’m here to say it’s worth every penny. best sluice and mats out there. Better than dream mats and infinity mats (no offense intended to their makers) thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
@alanrobertson251023 күн бұрын
Thank you. I never would have thought that the mats would catch gold when I started making them. I just wanted to make my own mats. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
@andypandyAU.666923 күн бұрын
Its very good to have your designs praised in such a way Alan. I love your way of striving to be better all the time. The mats work unbelievable at catching that powder flour gold. If tiny micros get caught, the bigger bits will too. Awesome enjoy you trip prospecting, I am going away for 3 weeks chasing Opal in South Australia. Regards Andy PPA
