I never saw this episode of “Knots Landing.” It’s interesting that they paused to recognize Christmas. “Dallas” never did… “Dallas” never had even a hint of a Christmas episode, or Thanksgiving, or any other holiday.

The eye contact between Gary and Val was priceless!!! Gary trying to tell Val to 'love' Lili-Mae's present and Val going along with it.

More like “hates patchwork, wears patchwork”. That robe or whatever it is she’s wearing while opening gifts is 70s-80s patchwork

Val hated store bought patchwork quilts because her mother sent one instead of showing up. This time is different because Val's mother went through the time and effort to make this patchwork quilt.
