What are the really long panels that grow with and among the Dulse that you’ve showcased here??? They have a similar texture, more greenish and thicker?

What a pity, I cut and threw away my hostas only because they grew too fast, occupied much space of my tiny garden and wasn't very attractive for me. NOw I feel like wanting to have them again :-

You can eat the leaves but you should eat the young leaves because they are tender the mature leaves are chewy. I just ate some of the flower stalks before the flowers open up, cut off about 4 to 5 inchescfrom the top. Stir fry in butter, garlic, salt and pepper and some bacon bits. Soo delicious!

If you cut off the shoots won’t the plant not ever grow back there or just that season? Also , do you eat the flowers?

What we do is blow the leaves out and then put our berries onto a 1/4" screen that you can buy at most hardware stores. That screen will allow all the unripen white and tiny berries to fall though. No loosing big ripe ones through floating as some ripe ones also float. You can also just rinse them on the screen to clean off more of the dirt and what not. Then they are pretty much done and ready to go.

PLEASE make a KZfaq video of your wife gutting fish while they are still alive just like you did in this video. 🙏 Make sure you film her and the fish while they gut it. Don’t just film their hands like you did in this video.

I dig clams for a living and this is NOT the way to do it. I understand that this method are for those without tools but you are going to be breaking more clams than you will be harvesting and that's a good way to piss off all the clammers in the area. For any interested in clamming, please invest in a clam hoe or learn how to dig clams by hand.

Does it have to be from the same type of plant? Could I use a zucchini flower on a yellow squash?

Indeed! I've been eating them like this for years, but just realized that they're absolutely fantastic on the grill! I put a pot over them for a few weeks before picking so they are blanched and mild but don't leaf out too much. I put up a video today of my grilled hostas with pesto recipe. I couldn't believe how good they were this way!
