The last time I visited San Francisco, I tried to get an apple from a street vendor. She said $5.00 . I said I only want one, not the entire basket. I walked to a grocery store and got five pounds for $4.00, and they were chilled much better. Is the Alcatraz tour still operating ? I might consider riding the Amtrak visit Alcatraz get right back on the train and go home . I will not stay overnight.
