I got the Corsair K70 Core and it has good sound and good RGB. The MSI Vigor though... it it bad. I went to use the HP keyboard that came with the PC instead because I didn't like it at all.

stupid design as the front case fan blows into the fans of the gpu spinning those up and how are you getting proper airflow when there are so little air spaces. you are literally sucking a glass window with a few gaps on the side

With this monitor? I'm glad it's pleasing for you, but it's objectively poorer than normal performance for HDR than competing monitors in this same range/price class.

Just built a system with this case and am very happy with it. The instructions are a bit scattered but far from as bad as some youtubers say, and honestly, if you can't build a case this simple, you might want to give a second thought about building your own system. The design, materials, paint and fit quality are excellent. It's compact and has huge breathing room (it's 07/07/2024 and mine already came with the higher flow dust filters). I did purchase fans for the bottom of the case to make it a positive pressure chamber. After my experience I bought three more for systems I'm building. If you want a very compact full ATX case with great configuration flexibility, I'd highly recommend the Qube 500.

1st question: Smart PSU with Active PFC ? How about normal active pfc ? Is seasonic focus gx750 a smart psu with active pfc ? I'm not mocking. I have no idea what a smart psu is. 2nd question: What is a legitimate question to why manufacturers use tiny fans in ups ? Especially online ups ? Is there a law against bigger than 8cm fan ?

Got it a week ago. It's a little disappointing. The main issue is brightness - you have to set it to 100%, but it's still too low however you set it up. HDR is unusable because the black levels are so saturated that it has no differentiation between shades. On the plus side: 165 refresh rate works perfectly, and freesync works perfectly also. Looks like they put a lower-class panel into a higher-class chasis/control module - the screen itself is the drawback. Get it cheap if you have to get it.

We were shooting a client video for MSI and they wanted to switch in the fans from the other version of this case. Yeah, in the opening we tell you the case doesn't come with these fans, and we didn't have the original fans to swap in, otherwise we would have. Hope that helps!

No problem bud. Yeah no speakers means you'd have to buy some. This is a monitor, not a TV- so not having speakers is fairly common.

Hey, i am gonna buy the 1000VA one but not of cyberpower. I will buy the apc one. Is that okay since cyber power is not available in my country. I just wanna know if 660w/1000VA will run my pc of rtx 3060, 5600x, 650 watt psu etc for atleast 15 minutes.

Haven't tested APC but with what info I could find online, I think they're in the same ballpark. I think it might be able, but with use and age the run time gets shorter and shorter. Hope it works out for you. Please subscribe, thanks for your support!

@@Techspin okay i will subscribe, i have many questions so i am asking, hope you dont mind 1. what do you mean by shorter and shorter? like i will have to replace battery every 1 or 2 year? 2. my pc has already turned off itself without shutting down 5-6 times because i didnt have a ups, so does that create any issue to my hardware? if it does is there a way of fix it or check? 3. do the psu cable that is attached to the bottom of the cabinet also connect to the ups? and the monitor one goes there too right, just checking if i am right. 4. did you have any issue related to your pc after the power outage without ups?

@@Techspin btw previously i had an intext protector 725, and it worked but it stopped working after a while maybe because of overheating, because when i checked the psu cable that was connected to cabinet and to the ups aswell, it was very very hot.

Last reply for now. You need to think about a UPS as a device that allows you to shut down your PC properly in the case of power failure. If there's longer runtime that's great, but it's not the primary function- for that, you need a generator. 1) just like using a car battery to start your car, the ability to do so is affected by how many starts it's done, the age, and cold weather. YMMV. 2) Brownouts or spikes can damage your PC's power supply or anything connected to it. However, in 15 years and maybe 10 times of power loss, i did lose a network card twice, but everything else is fine. If it still works, should be okay. If there's a weird electronics burning smell, you'll know you need a tech friend. 3) Plug UPS into wall. Plug PC and monitor into UPS. 4) Just network cards so far. However i remove the UPS from the wall in case of heavy lightning, no protection over a close lightning strike. 5) If the PSU cable is getting hot, you either have a too small power wire (bigger=lower AWG) or something else is going on. Grab a thick power wire and test after gaming.

Depends on how sensitive you are to it, it's just fine for me and I don't have to worry about gradual burn-in like you do with IPS. Haven't seen curved IPS though.

@@Techspin I do know curved IPS exists, but I think it's just rare, also, tested with my brother's monitor a while back and it looked terrible, all the colors lagging behind even with the high refresh rate of 165hz. Also not sure what you mean with burn-in, dont know much about it yet.

No. The black-level ghosting is hard to spot. I've only noticed it once. Test on-screen is sharp, but the brightness is a little low.

bought new fans for this case. i chose the thermaltake c12c (3 120 front, 2 120 side, and 1 120 exhaust). i wont be using the molex fans anymore because they can raise gpu temps slightly if placed over psu shroud and raise cpu temps if placed on the top vents

I've had this keyboard for 3 years and it works flawlessly. Sure the keycaps have a shine now, but there's nothing else I can complain about. I've tried other mecha-membrane keyboards (Corsair K55, Logitech G213 and Steelseries Apex 3) and the HyperX is the best when it comes to quality and feel.

That's because it's a computer monitor and not a TV. Game consoles use TV HDMI timings which are very slightly different than PC HDMI timings. You'd think a PS5 should be able to hit different resolutions but let's not forget when PS4 allowed switching from 1080p to 4K that was a big deal. 😅
