Nice!!! Our favorite campground so far in our adventures. It’s a little tricky during peak season because you have a 5 night minimum for non-lake front. Eats up a lot of the vacation days to make that commitment every year.

We just purchased a 2024 Rockwood Roo 233S a few weeks ago. We are not picking it up and doing our demo until October 14th. Can't wait to get out and enjoy it

Wait, you were upset when a ride that's Not Officially open yet is in technical Rehearsals goes down during stormy weather. 😂 Also not sure where your from. Schools weren't even out in NJ and NY when you went. Middle of Summer is 3rd week of July to 1st week of August. 😂 Also make sure you know the Correct Height requirements for rides if your going to Attempt to give them. BTW those are called Stantions. Also it's Inline. Not ONLINE 😂 IN-LINE. Maybe Plan better and make sure things are Open and your Plans might work out better. 😂

@thefunparent I'm in my 60s, and about a year ago, we officially adopted one of our grandchildren as our own. She'll be 3 soon, and we've had her since she was born. I love watching your channel as it gives me ideas of things to do with her. We have an older Roo but are trying to decide if we want to go that route again or get something a little different!

The "Bull Pen" is a designated area where you can overnight camp if you have a slide in camper on your pickup truck. Towable campers aren't permitted on the beach.

Why do people who "camper camp" refer to those who tent as "tent city" camping is camping I thought? and if they are next to you then they paid the same price for there site as you did. Same as those who have travel trailers or 5th wheels camp may see you as a step above tents in your hybrid. Treat people the same as you would like to be treated.

We started as tent campers. The difference is we respected our neighbors, didn’t have unleashed pets coming into other people’s sites, and didn’t setup 6 tents on one site with 20-30 people staying on that one site. We camp with people who have tents and don’t look down on them at all. “Tent City” is referring to the fact that a site should not have 6 tents on one site. Campgrounds do not allow me to roll in with 3 campers and park them all on the same site. Why is it ok for tent camping to pile as many people on one site as possible? There were a ton of people tent camping at this campground. Just don’t be disrespectful of those around you and you can sleep in whatever you want.

It is outrageous to make people stand on line, get on the ride, shut it down, and then tell those same people to get back in line. Why not make it so that those people can get in the front of the line once it reopens?! I agree with your frustration.

Thanks for watching. So, I am using the Sony ZV-1 which has IS. Unfortunately, the camera reset itself somehow into demo mode on day 2 of the trip. This turned off the IS. I didn’t realize it until I started editing the footage. I’m super bummed.

@@thefunparent These things happen. Shaky or not, at least you have the memories captured on film so you'll always be able to look back and enjoy. If you haven't done so already, you can also try applying some IS in post. Even iMovie has this feature. It won't correct everything but it will help smooth some things out.

It’s too short. I have membership and it’s so challenging to get my 3 y/o out of the waterpark since you only have 20min. Every time she has a legit melt down.

Agree 100%!! We went on a week day and didn’t have any issues. They let us hang out for about an hour. Weekends are not the same experience.

Jersey has a lot of nice zoos and animal rescues where almost all kinds of animals are here, the only ones that are missing are polar bears, pandas, koalas, echidnas, pangolins, platypus, moose, walrus, warthogs, Tasmanian devils, dingoes and African wild dogs, hopefully they will get to be part of it someday and feel safe and right at home in a sanctuary

That will depend on height and whether or not they can sit on a ride beside you and not on your lap. They are very strict about not having kids on your lap. You can check the height requirements on the LEGOLAND website. There are also other things to do there other than the rides. If you can get discounted tickets, it’s worth the trip just to check it out.

We had a Roo for 17 years and absolutely loved it and never had a problem with it! We just sold it for $5000 and bought another Rockwood but a 2 slide out, queen bed ultra lite!

If we were to do it again, I would have opted for a hard side with no tent beds. Our Roo is serving our family very well for the size and weight and of towing, but we would like something enclosed with a bunk house. Camper itself was a great purchase and we love the adventures. Love this video, such a great family experience. I went to college nearby at ESU and still adore the area 30 years later. It was great seeing the bonding experiences with your kids now that mine are grown (20 and almost 24). Time flies, take advantage of these moments! Your kids will always remember these awesome trips and the fun they had with their parents.
