Probably too slow for roaming and not enough damage for zerg play. If you go full dragon and DPS relic, it might work for zergs.

dh usually runs sword because the port helps you roam more effectively on the dps longbow build. This build's entire game plan is to force people to push into you as a tanky duelist so you don't need sword as an engage tool. The cc and extra damage synergize better with this playstyle in my opinion but there's nothing wrong with sword if you prefer it.

It's significantly more complicated to focus a target when they have a support and understand how to kite properly, often you have to switch targets 2 or 3 times in a fight. My team are good players but we don't have experience as a team which is important to play together correctly. The ideal thing here would have been to get everyone in discord and call targets that way but it didn't happen.

Yes, you can play pvp without gear. You need at least 3 armor pieces or you get a stat penalty but you can just wear the gear it gives you at level 1 and you will be fine. World vs World is a bit different since you need gear for that gamemode but it is its own thing.

Also, I think the only build that is truly truly S+ is Untamed, because if the other 3 S+ classes are much better than S, then Untamed is S+++ because it literally shits on everyone and everything easily

"Death Drop, 6k, your heal, 6k, Imperial Guard, 8k, your CCs do damage, range one shot, melee one shot, etc." Not even Death Drop with high vuln stacks and Swift Termination up does 6k (the average is 3.5k). Which is in fact the single only thing that should be addressed, Death Drop, has been for a while. Some videos earlier he said in a comment it was fine actually, except for hammer that got rid of its weaknesses by allowing it to freecast from range, which everyone can agree. So probably address hammer too since its being played with every single power revenant variant; Renegade and Herald are using it too since it has no downsides. Not a good video for an objective balance view of the game. Since the vast majority of players are still getting annoyed and quitting from being farmed by condition builds and WBs.

Is it 1-2-3 spam? and what is the talk about all the games? what kind of logic "everyone is dumb therefore I must be dumb"? by the way, there are games in which the difference in the skill of the player is greater than just who will press 1-2-3 perfectly

@@user-ib9ry8we9x Diff between top players and casual players are not about what spec they re useing but how they are playing. How they are kiting, how they are regrouping how they use a surprise momentum and how they rotate. U can see repapers running headless to TF without a single try of kite cos someone told them they are tanky and cannot die. Same with spellbreakers or any duelists who dont know how to kite back in +1 +2 situations. They just die, lose node and what is worse they lose time in greyscreen. U can mess up TF but u can still win. But no with strategy of respawning and not regrouping dieing 1by1 in outnumbered situations. Every spec has its own role so your team comp should look like this where u have i tank on node, one +1 roamer, one pure dps support and boon corrupter or stripper. Games of 5 willbenders can work but also cant when u play against organized group like this. Also i can say most of top15 top20 players are duoqing cos they have their strategies.

Virt can be really good, the reason most people stay away from it is it's really situational. Sometimes if absolutely pops off and the next game you're completely useless. Not a bad spec, but you're basically coin flipping whether you get to do anything ever game which is very irritating if you want consistent results.

Depends on matchup. Into classes that get blown up by confusion like ele, DH, & other mesmers condi chrono is really good. If they have lots of cleanse or a support chrono this tends to work better for more consistent damage output.

If you want to run illusions I would actually drop domi. Dueling gives you perma vigor and fury which are too good to lose on power mirage imo. If you like illusions I've been messing with gw2skills.net/editor/?PiwAEx/lFwmYKsLmJWsWpvSA-DaILkMrgeTguDBp+PAAA this version of the build that plays more into the oneshot shatter side of pmirage and uses mantra for the vuln uptime you lose from dropping domi.

The nerf to shroud HP hit power specter really hard since it has low vitality. Zakiros relic feels good on it but I would still put it in C tier unless they revert the shroud change

They buffed the minor traits and reworked desperate decoy into mental gymnastics. Because of these changes dueling now gives you permanant fury and vigor for free which is massive for pmirage.

I'm running this exact build with dagger/focus + greatsword and have been having great results with it, but YMMV of course.

Omg permanent Fury and vigor is sooooo good for mirage. Will try the dagger version this evening.

That's part of why you'll see most people running low settings

I am objectively correct about core ele, it is bad. If you have fun with it that's fine but it is just worse than every other ele spec in every way.
