Thanks so much for the tip. I was also wondering about using the baking soda, because I noticed in the video, after you pulsed the pesto, it was bubbling. So, I was wondering about the taste of the baking soda. But, I will take your word for it. I guess you can do the same by making arugula and cilantro pesto, etc? Can't wait to make it. 🤩 Now, to start growing my own basil. Absolutely LOVE pesto 🥰

I had a similar project restoring my metal wheel barrow except the outside of it was fine. It was just the inside that had rust because I left dirt in it too long. I first sealed up the leaks around the bolt head and then poured several containers of Evapo Rust into the wheel barrow. Within 24 hrs it dissolved all the heavy caked on rust at the bottom. It left pock marks where the rust used to be which meant the rust had penetrated too deep for a grinder and the Evapo Rust solvent was indeed the best way. After I cleaned out the residue of the Evapo Rust solvent I pretty much went through the same process seen here. Btw, to transfer the Evapo Rust out of the wheel barrow and back into its containers I used a Drummond 750 GPH drill pump from Harbor Freight. I think it’s better than the one Home Depot and Ace sells.

@TheMuzShop I tried your "stay bright green" pesto last night and what a difference! I love it! I has never even thought about it until I saw your video. I used all olive oil instead of the butter, and it came out just beautiful. Now I can save it in an ice cube tray and use as needed. This will bea Godsend since we live at the beach/bay and have a lot of guests. Thank you. By the way, not a bit of Italian blood, so you don't have to worry that I died! 🤣

Help please?! OH MY GOSH! One hour ago i saw the video you did while getting car inspection so i came home and TRIED DOING THIS IN MY CONDO! FAILED. Thank YOU SO VERY MUCH SHOWING HOW TO RIG IT!! Im going to hang it from air vent above my head on the ceiling. Ill run some cord through it and knot it Then hook it to paint can handle as you did Do you think it will swing correct hanging from the vent ? Im in an art show in a gallery soon and I dont have a garage to do as you did
@TheMuzShop
@TheMuzShop Ай бұрын
I think that would work as long as it doesn’t wonder around. It has to swing like a pendulum. Get yourself set up and fine it a dry run. Also with a dry run you can get the feel of how to swing it correctly. Also test out your hole and see if it’s a steady stream of paint over a plastic cup of some sort. Good luck. Email me a picture if you want, I would love to see it. 👍👍👍

Thank you for the video I made something very similar with one exception I made the stand wider at the bottom meaning extending in back of the tablet and I cut pieces 3/4x 3/4 rounded to form a little well in back of the tablets to keep extra pens, pencils and stylist . Being larger also acts like a Outrigger more or less so in case your tablet is larger or heavier or you put too much pressure on it the tablet will not fall backwards. I hope I'm explaining myself. Take care

If running the two straightedges along each pair of nails strikes a circular arc, then using only 3 nails--the end points of the baseline and the top of the center high point--to construct the straightedges will also strike a circular arc. Once the straightedges are built, remove the nail on the center high point and simply run the straightedges along the end points to strike the arc.

It's tough to think this project is for a beginner woodworker when you used a planer, drill press, router table, table saw, and that level 99 black magic staining technique (LOL). I'm a beginner and I don't have any of that stuff. The project itself might be easy, but those tools are well outside my "beginner" hobby budget. Thanks for the video, though, it was encouraging for me.
@TheMuzShop
@TheMuzShop 4 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. You really don’t need all those tools. If you got a piece of wood that was the right thickness and width. You can probably make this with a hand saw🪚, hand drill , sandpaper and glue. It took me 20 years or so to get this tool one at a time. Good luck and happy making. 👍👍👍

I turned my 14 inch Lincoln bandsaw from1979 into a 26 inch throat, 17 inch high capacity saw & it worked terrific. I just installed the Carter blade guides & cut some 1/2 inch cold rolled plate. HOLY COW! Never thought that guides were that important if your saw was set up correctly, but the Carters took it to a new level. Cut was almost like it was machined on the mill.
